"Dirty crockery and cutlery at meal times.This is only the start:
Food is undercooked, especially the burgers and alot of left over lunch food is there also for dinner time.
Alot of the food is delicious and fresh and cooked infront of you which is great. There is a wide selection every meal time and deserts were very enjoyable
Kids club not great, a couples child walked out and staff didn't know and we weren't even informed of kids club on arrival heard times by word of mouth and we have 4 kids.
Night entertainment was a disaster , mini disco for kids very little adult/family entertainment after it. We have 4 outgoing kids aging from 12-3 and every night they spent it sitting with us bored. The lighting on stage at night awful can't see as its too dark!!
No ball or floaties allowed in the main pool . After been asked to take my ball out (I was playing with my 7 y/o
son) they put on a game of water-polo the length of the whole pool and put in 3 balls for the game a massive contradiction that I made the lifeguard aware of as it created havoc in the whole pool compared to just me and my son closely throwing a ball together bothering nobody.Parents actually took their kids out as the game took over the pool and was dangerous for them. I pulled a child from the water during the game who was under the water her father was running to get her and was very greatful for me helping her but the lifeguards didn't even know it happened as it was so overcrowded I had to tell them and they didn't understand a word so I walked away.
A few times people had balls in and not a word said to them,so then I brought my ball back in and only at that stage did the lifeguard signal to take all balls out. If they liked you basically you can play away if they don't then your pulled to take it out a disgrace of a system in terms of consistancy from one particulatr set of lifeguards.(One male,one Female) everyday they worked there was issues.
The rooms were clean and spacious and cleaned regularly. Housekeeping staff, reception staff,restaurant staff,Bar staf, kids club staff were all friendly(few oddballs like everywhere) and professional as were the lifeguards bar the two I highlighted above⬆️.
The hotel is clean and modern, it appears fantastic at first but a lot of cracks appear as your time there passes by.
Pool area is very crammed by the sunbeds especially down by the slides it's chaos literally just enough space for people to walk between the sunbeds and the pool edge very dangerous for young kids!!
There were two young I'm guessing u13 football teams there during our stay. One Dutch, one French. They were taking part in a football comp in Barcelona.Which is great but as for the Dutch lads you wouldn't even know they were there in the hotel a great gang. The French lads on the other hand were and absolute disgrace they ran riot taking over the pool, the restaurant and the games room every night,rude no manners they even took all balls from the 2 pool tables in the games room. They ran the corridors shouting very late every night, I spoke to a man who complained about them to staff and was told nothing they can do ,which isn't good enough considering how hard we all worked to get on this expensive holiday.
The staff are great in their own way but the hotel is all over the place in terms of the running of it . It seemed out of control for 4 days it was definitely overcrowded, meal times , pool time ,restaurant was all heavily over crowded.Kids will be kids but this was out of hand and for hotel managment to allow.this happen even after complajnts says enough .
The poolside bar don't get me started. Queing for 20 mins at a time no exaggerating . By day the food for all inclusive is a toasties, a hotdogs or a burger all with chips and its possibly the worst food iv ever eaten and cold and they are the same words spoken by everyone we spoke too staying there while we were there.
The all inclusive package is very limited and you still have to pay for anything half decent even tho being all inclusive.
There are ALOT more negatives than positives from our experience staying in this hotel.
It may not seem it from this but we are very easy going people I just like to make.you aware and dont spend your hard earned money in places like this. I was annoyed by how much we paid we have 4 kids and did 10 days and I was very unsatisfied and disappointed by our stay at this hotel and won't be returning here again probably not even to any "Best" hotel again anywhere after this experience.
When my airport transfer arrrived tk go home I can't tell you how happy I was.
This is our experience and I wouldn't like it for anyone. The management have alot of responsibility here and all the above issues are easily rectified and because iv read other reviews on this stating the same it seems they will not be rectified and seem tk be there along time.
My opinion - review your hotels in dept especially with kids involved/family holidays. Hotels like this dont deserve your hard earned money as it's all they want and don't give you your value on their end and obviously from reading other reviews ) don't care and will continue to do so as ling as people continue to think its a great spot from initial viewing of the page just like I did. J tell you it's a hard lesson learned
