"We recently returned from an absolutely flawless stay with Hotel LIVVO in Puerto de Mogán. This area is a picture-perfect pocket of paradise, and the hotel and accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way.
1. The Accommodation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We stayed in a Superior Apartment and absolutely loved it. It was incredibly bright, modern, and spotlessly clean. Having both a large and a small balcony was a wonderful bonus. Inside, the apartment was brilliant: a spacious bathroom with a fantastic double shower and a high-quality hairdryer, a great TV with plenty of channels, and a small, highly functional kitchen equipped with a kettle and microwave. The beds were very comfortable, and despite being just a few minutes' walk from the main hotel, it was exceptionally peaceful with absolutely no noise at all. It was the perfect private haven. There's even a roof terrace with sun beds shared by the other apartments in the block. My only minor criticism is the pillows were a bit hard and flat.
2. The Hotel & Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The main hotel is just a short, lovely walk away and is equally bright, modern, and immaculately clean. The pool area is fantastic, spacious, spotless, and right on the sea, meaning you can jump straight into the ocean to cool down. Best of all, there were always plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available, so there were absolutely no "sunbed wars" to worry about. There is even a lovely residential cat to keep you company while you sunbathe! The spa and wellness area is another major highlight and perfect for pure relaxation. I had an incredible massage with the lovely Zena and would definitely do it again. We were even treated to a superb flamenco guitarist and a saxophonist who were both incredibly talented.
While I totally understand that this is not an all inclusive holiday it would have been nice to have a water cooler. You can buy it behind the bar or take your own in so please do take a big thermal cup with you for your water.
3. The Staff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff here are simply amazing and truly cannot do enough for you. They are wonderful, friendly people who clearly love and take pride in their jobs. Adonay is an absolute star, helping everyone with towels, umbrellas, and anything else you could possibly need. Billie is equally fantastic, always greeting you with a massive smile no matter how busy she is. From the front desk to the spa, you are treated like royalty.
4. The Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The breakfasts here are simply amazing and I cannot fault them at all. There is a huge range of fresh food to choose from, ranging from cooked dishes to an extensive Continental selection. You can have crispy bacon, sausages etc. eggs anyway you like or you can opt for the extensive range of fruit and nuts and cereals. I loved the frittata, it was melt in the mouth. The fresh juice is amazing! Despite the incredible variety and quality, the restaurant is so well-managed that we never had to queue for anything. It was the perfect start to every single day.
5. Puerto de Mogán Itself: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mogán is absolutely beautiful. It boasts a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, making it the ultimate destination if you want a peaceful, rejuvenating holiday (though not the place if you are looking to party). There is something for everyone here, with an abundance of excellent eating places scattered along both the scenic harbour and the beach.
This holiday was so perfect that we have booked up to come back next year already! We can’t recommend Hotel LIVVO and Puerto de Mogán highly enough."
