"This a lovely hotel but a few things let it down. We didn't find there was enough information given. We arrived at 11 am but couldn't get into our room until 3pm but was not told that we could go to the cafe and get coffee & cake so we just hung around until 3pm when our room was ready. We were AI with a sea view which we paid extra for. On the left of our balcony was a generator which was uncovered and very noisy. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower but I don't understand your thinking of a glass door to it which didn't close and kept opening so not very private. Very odd. All the staff were very friendly and always spoke as did the entertainment team. The hotel lacked places to sit on an evening if you don't want to sit in the bar just uncomfortable seats in reception. We visited Valletta by bus which is so easy as the bus station is just up the road. The bus does get very busy so avoid early morning. We found the food a bit disappointing. Breakfast was very good but at lunch and dinner we sometimes found it difficult to find something we liked. On our last night they served mainly curry and hot spicy dishes which we don't like. There was turkey so thought we would have that but the potatoes were curried. It is such a shame, this could be a really lovely hotel. Its near to shops, a nice walk along the promenade, easy to get around, lovely staff, lovely a la carte restaurants, good room just need to sort some of the problems out."

During our stay found all staff to be very pleasant, with a helpful attitude gave us the impression that the hotel staff enjoyed working there, so many to thank for a lovely holiday most working behind the scene clearly making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Special thanks to room service (Tia) .Many activities within the hotel, impressed with night events. Food was good standard we stayed half board plus allowing for selected drinks during evening meal, good variety and themed nights. Connected to hotel complex are two excellent bars/restaurants SABI and KORA, staff really nice, we suggest trying some of their cocktails especially happy hour btn 5-8. Had last meal at Kora arranged by manager Kieran, he can be proud of his team service was first class, special thank you to Jobin/Armine...sunset views fabulous from restaurant, booking required. Public service bus right next to hotel with a prompt service only 2euros to Valletta a definite must when in Malta. "From the initial entry into the foyer of the hotel the experience was excellent. The reception staff were very attentive and welcoming. We were booked in by Hassan was very friendly and when we told him we had been before he was kind enough to give us complementary drinks at the bar. We were even allowed to our room an hour early. We had booked a two bedroom family room. This was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had decided to only do bed and breakfast as we knew the breakfast buffet was plentiful and the variety was brilliant, we weren’t disappointed. House keeping was carried out daily and they even left playful characters made out of towels on our bed! Facilities were very good, the gym area could do with a relocation as it gets very hot in there. The tunnel to the new Sabi and Kora beach clubs was very useful. We would definitely book this hotel again."
