Aminess Maravea Camping Resort

"I spent six wonderful days at Aminess Planet Camping Maravea, from September 17th to 23rd, staying in the Luxury Amber Village. From the moment we arrived, I loved the atmosphere of the resort – beautifully surrounded by mature trees, lush greenery and nature, while still offering comfort and everything you need for a relaxing stay. I was celebrating my birthday during our visit, and coming back to our terrace to find beautiful flowers waiting for me was such a lovely and thoughtful surprise. It was a small personal touch that made the experience feel truly special. The resort has a wonderful family atmosphere, with children enjoying the many outdoor spaces and pets being warmly welcomed too. At the same time, there are plenty of peaceful moments when you can simply sit back, enjoy the greenery and listen to the sounds of nature. We particularly enjoyed Loop Restaurant, while One Second café, right next to the beach, became our favourite place for coffee and a beautiful view of the sea. Another great advantage is the proximity of Novigrad. It is close enough to reach easily by bicycle, making it perfect for exploring the town and the beautiful Istrian surroundings without needing a car. What I appreciated most was the feeling of being away from everyday life while still having comfort, good food, the sea and everything within easy reach. It was more than just a camping stay – it was a beautiful experience, made even more memorable by celebrating my birthday there. I left with wonderful memories and would genuinely love to return."

"Reception and camping staff are very friendly. The bathroom is super clean. The beach borders the campsite and is within walking distance. Very spacious campsites. Enough facilities for entertainment at the campsite. The village is within walking distance where you can eat nicely in the evening. We had a nice holiday here, enjoyed it!"

"Second highest category Superior Mare. Site size extremely variable, not reservable, okay at path corners, otherwise fraudulently small (60.2 m2, measured W: 7.60, D: 8.60 m). After setting up our (awning) tent, the site could not be left with a 7m motorhome due to the extremely narrow paths (for caravanners, a mover is recommended). We had to rent a car to be able to leave the site (thanks SIXT). Tree stumps on the edge and in the middle of the site, it could only be parked facing forward, otherwise the ALKO rear axle would break. According to reception, they acted oblivious and dismissed the complaint. One cleaning person per sanitary facility (5 toilets/showers each per gender), lights broken, lines in the morning and from late afternoon on. No washbasin cubicles! Coarse limestone gravel everywhere on the paths, green waste from spring still on the sites, fences partly dilapidated. Attention dog owners: Exits according to plan no longer exist, dog shoes urgently required for the beach, burr clover! I have never had to pay such an unreasonably high price for misrepresented features in 50 years of camping. Defects and maintenance deficits that have obviously existed for years and would hardly cause any costs are not being remedied."
