Villa Rustica Dalmatia

"This was our first visit to Croatia and really didn't know what to expect! We had seen the reviews about the Villa Rustica, and we were expecting it to be good. However, it is EXCELLENT! Set in the village of Seget Vranjica. It was literally a 2 minute walk down to the front and the few bars and excellent restaurants. Our apartment was an immaculate 1 bedroom with another single bed in the lounge. The bedroom was huge. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a washer in the bathroom. We felt we got a lot for the money we spent on the holiday. The village is so quiet, an occasional car going down to the front. There is a main road nearby, which you can hear from time to time. Certainly didn't bother us. The apartments are kept in tip top condition by three absolutely lovely ladies named Seka, Mirsada and Zikreta. Everyday, we received a gift of food from the Host. From fruit to Croatian Desserts. We were there with another couple, who also had an amazing time there. One of the days Ana the host arranged a home made traditional meal for the 4 of us and served to us at the apartment. This holiday was enchanting, like going back in time by at least 40 years. Before everything became commercialised. This has been our 1st visit , but it is certainly not our last. You don't even have to take a towel for sunbathing, even those are provided, clean everyday."

"We stayed in the superior apartment of the stone villa, it was large, beautifully clean and well presented with a terrace with amazing views. It was up a lot of stairs and no lift which may be an issue for some. The room was serviced daily and home made pastries were left for us which was a treat! There was also bread, cold meats and cheese waiting for us on arrival. The area is very quiet, 4 restaurants, a couple of beach bars and a couple of small supermarkets. A beach is just down the road. We used Uber to visit other towns, price very much depends on time of day. The only hiccup was that we had booked through EasyJet and missed that we were meant to let the hotel know when we would be arriving and so when we arrived there was no one there and it was dark. Fortunately a couple staying at the hotel helped us get in touch with the owner otherwise we may have been sleeping on the sunbeds! It’s a beautiful place and we would happily return."

"Wonderful stay and excellent value for money. All the luxury you could wish for in the apartment/outdoor area. Immacuately clean and very well maintained. Staff were lovely and very hard working. Both Pools and communual areas were very well looked after. We were spoilt for choice. Location was quiet but perfect for a relaxing break. A faultless stay."
