"Sataya Resort Marsa Alam gave us exactly what we came to Egypt for: sunshine, relaxation, good food, plenty of activities and, most importantly, a great atmosphere created by the people working here. We had one of our best stays in Egypt and would definitely come back!☀️ 🌴 The resort Sataya is a really large resort, so be prepared to do plenty of walking – although bicycles are also available. For us, the size was actually a big advantage. Even with a lot of guests, we never felt overcrowded or like there wasn't enough space. There are many swimming pools, each with a slightly different atmosphere: children's pools, pools with lots of activities, and quieter areas for those who simply want to relax. There is also plenty to do during the day – beach volleyball, water polo, fitness activities and other entertainment. In the evening, there are shows and activities as well, so it is difficult to get bored here. During our August stay, there were many Polish guests, which made it very easy to find a group for sports and evening fun. 😊 ❤️ The animation team A big thank you to the animation team, especially Roksana and Julia, who helped create such a positive and friendly atmosphere. The animators are around throughout the day, but we never found them pushy. You can join the activities if you want, or simply relax and do your own thing. That flexibility is one of the things we really appreciated. 🍽️ Food The choice of food is very good and there is something for almost everyone – meat, fish, vegetables, salads, lighter meals, quick snacks and plenty of desserts. We also recommend trying the à la carte restaurants. The meals are more elaborate and give you a slightly different dining experience. Just don't arrive too hungry – there can be quite a lot of food! 😉 It is worth booking in advance, as the restaurants can fill up quickly. 🤿 The reef – a big highlight! For us, one of the best things about Sataya was the sea and coral reef. There are plenty of colourful fish and different types of coral, and if you're lucky, you can also see rays and turtles. For anyone who enjoys snorkelling or diving, this is definitely a major advantage of the resort. The famous Abu Dabab area is also nearby, around 3 km from the hotel, and is known for its turtles. There are also diving centres in the area for those who want to explore the Red Sea even further. 👨‍🍳 The staff The staff were one of the biggest positives of our stay. They were friendly, helpful and generally very willing to assist. We had no problems communicating in English or German, and some members of staff even speak a little Polish. A special hello to Rambo, Kuba, Julia and Roksana – thank you for making our holiday even better! ❤️ Small tips are appreciated and, in our experience, a nice way of saying thank you to people who work hard every day to make guests feel welcome. 🛡️ Safety We felt safe throughout our stay. There is security at the entrance, lifeguards around the pools, medical assistance available, a resort representative and safes in the rooms. Of course, it is worth remembering that Egypt is not Europe and things sometimes work a little differently. We experienced a few minor inconveniences, such as a temporary power cut, but nothing that affected our holiday in any meaningful way. 🛏️ Rooms Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Of course, some areas of a large resort could benefit from refreshing or modernization. We simply didn't let small imperfections spoil our holiday. After all, we didn't come to Egypt to spend the whole day inspecting the room – we came to enjoy the sun, sea and good times. 😊 ☀️ Final thoughts If you're looking for a resort with a great atmosphere, lots of activities, plenty of swimming pools, a beautiful reef and the option to be either active or completely relaxed, Sataya Resort is definitely worth considering. For us, the biggest compliment is that we didn't feel the need to leave the resort during our stay. Everything we needed for a great holiday was right there. We came to relax, have fun and recharge our batteries – and that's exactly what we did. "We stayed in August so it was really hot. The animation team and staff is really good, friendly and helpful. The food is good (Im a picky eater and ate almost everything). Be prepared for the sea because its from a pier and its mostly for people who likes snorkeling"

"We spent almost two weeks at Satya Resort, and honestly, it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. We didn’t come here to look for flaws or expect excessive luxury – that’s not what we care about. Minor imperfections can be found anywhere, but we came to relax, not to check whether the balcony curtain has all its rings or whether there’s a small scratch somewhere. The rooms were perfectly clean every single day, with a regular supply of bottled drinking water. Towels and bed linen smelled fresh, changed according to the resort’s instructions. Beach towels could be easily exchanged for clean ones or returned – the card system worked flawlessly. The beach was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and places to relax. The water was crystal clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Even here, the staff was always nearby, ready to help or offer advice, and the atmosphere was calm, pleasant, and safe. The resort has a fantastic atmosphere. We thought that being in the middle of the desert, behind the resort walls, we might get bored – but the opposite was true. Daily and evening programs, entertainers, discos, live music… everyone can find something they enjoy here. Families with children, people seeking peace, and those who want evening entertainment. What impressed us the most was the staff and their attitude. Whenever they saw us looking unsure, they immediately offered help or advice. Throughout our stay, we felt safe – safety is taken seriously here – and at the same time, we felt like part of a big family. Everyone, even gardeners or cleaners who normally don’t interact with guests, wished us a good morning, a nice day, or a pleasant evening and asked if we were satisfied. The resort has many bars and restaurants. The food was very good, with themed dinners every evening, which we really enjoyed. Drinks were excellent – and if you don’t know what to order, let the bartenders surprise you with their skills. A special thank you goes to Abdul Karim from the lobby bar and Islam Adly from the beach bar. These guys didn’t just do a great job – they went above and beyond. Their human approach, willingness to help, sense of humor, and genuine warmth made a huge difference. They worked professionally, yet with heart and authenticity, winning not only us over but surely many other guests as well. It’s truly something exceptional, and we won’t forget you. We would also like to express our appreciation to the entire Satya Resort team. Every single person we met – from reception, restaurants, bars, housekeeping, all the way to the gardeners – contributed to making us feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. Your attitude, smiles, and willingness to help created an atmosphere we will remember for a long time. And this is the true value of Satya Resort – not just the services, but the feeling you take home with you. The environment, the people, the atmosphere, the sense of safety, the genuine care and human warmth that are increasingly rare today. All of this created an experience that wasn’t just a holiday, but something we will remember forever. This was the best holiday we’ve had so far, and we will definitely return."
