"We stayed here for 4 nights in September and we really enjoyed our stay, we was given a sea view which great,the room we had did have a separate bedroom and a lounge area with seating, the place is massive,the food was really good as well but maybe could of been a bit hotter,we was all inclusive and they use the token system for getting drinks at the bar which worked well,you can use the facilities at the other hotels in the complex as well,we would definitely return"

"Well, here goes my experience I booked for two days in this hotel as my flight was cancelled early hours in the morning I couldn’t get a flight till Wednesday and here is my honest opinion,we got there. The hotel was stunning and very clean. We booked it on an app and couldn’t check in till 2 pm the following day so we were tired as we didn’t sleep through the night as we had nowhereto go we showed the gentleman on the desk our booking it said all inclusive and he tried to make out that it’s full boards so drinks and all inclusive things I said that we had paid extra for the all-inclusive. He wouldn’t have any of it. I was too tired to argue about it. Ijust needed to sleep. We went to the hotel snack bar we put stuff on our plate as we were hungry and five member of staff approached me and said you have to pay for all this I said that I had food here he said not in the snack bar. I put the food down on. They actually put it back out for other people to eat which totally disgusted me ,You just shouldn’t do this because of hygiene ,They could’ve said to the children to have it this once they were starving so I went back up tothe desk and complained and said I’m sorry we did book an all inclusive. I want the drinks free too he said he would have to get a manager to ring me. I spoke to someone called Manuel he on the phone yes I will let you have drinks. We went into the restaurant for tea. We ordered one drink and The Man came over and saidyou’re only allowed one drink. I said no the guy told me Manuel that we could have them free so I rang him. He said no my lovely you didn’t hear me right? I said I did hear youright this is not on so he said okay I will let you have drinks tonight but in the bar you can only have one. I this isn’t right so he said okay I will let you have it tonight but not tomorrow we will cut your bands off at 12 pm you willnot be able to have any food from then I explained to him that we didn’t leave till 4 pm and that lunch was 1pm there and had no band from 12pm and that all the all inclusive hotels Let you eat and use amenities free until you leave the hotel , He said you were not all inclusive. I said yes I am it was on my booking. It was like us so they were all watching us the members of staff every time we would go in restaurants it was a horrible feeling we went to hand our bands back in. Get a ticket for a meal in the restaurant he said he needed the beach towels back at 12 pm. I said the children wants go in the pool because we don’t leave till 4 pm. He said you’ll have to hand them in so I was back on the phone to Manuel. He honoured them till we left. He actually asked me to write a good review on here but I am not doing that because I am absolutely disgusted on how we were treated the two days we were there. I felt like I had to keep ringing Manuel. I will be sending this review to Melia hotels, when we were there, we met a couple and they had complained to a manager as well to do with the food and other things ,they were all inclusive I didn’t feel welcomed at all in the hotel. It was horrible feeling the rooms were very dated and hadn’t been modernised for many years. The entertainment was rubbish and I couldn’t wait to leave there. I was under the impression melia hotels were good as I had been to one in Tenerife it was really good ,I will certainly not be going back to this hotel. We had already been through enough stress because our flight was cancelled. I explained this to the guy on the desk and it just got worse from there. I feel that the two days I spent in this hotel I was so stressed it wasn’t good enough."
