"The room was spacious. No charge for the safe, WiFi and air conditioning. Room cleaned daily by friendly staff. The bathroom and shower were very good. Only small negative was she shower door being of the partly open design. Water dripping to the floor after every shower, but it was only a little inconvenience and easily mopped up. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke English. Very few English speaking customers in the hotel, mostly German, but no problems communicating with the staff. I booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was very good with an excellent choice to suit all. The dining room staff were very helpful and hard working and friendly. The pool area was good and plenty of sunbeds available as well as the bar and snacks, but I did not use the snack bar. The hotel location was two streets away from the beach, a couple of minutes walking distance. It was very quiet in the streets outside the hotel, so no problems with noise. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Alondra hotel."

"Location is spectacular. The area is just outstandingly beautiful. Three minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. However, this hotel is geared at German Visitors first and foremost, very little is in English. Cleaning staff and waiting staff were friendly but reception staff are German, and not particularly forthcoming towards English guests. Rooms are basic if they've been updated... No drawers to hide belongings and the awful sewage smell that eminates from all toilets and drains is really really bad. Stinking the room out constantly. I asked for extra pillows, nothing arrived. The luggage storage is a free for all, and you need to climb over other people's cases to get to the back... With no help from the staff offered. Whilst I would visit the area again, I would not recommend for other English visitors."

"The hotel staff is extremely kind, they treated me phenomenally; what I highlight the most is the kindness of the staff, everyone, absolutely everyone, from the lifeguard to reception, the bar colleagues, the manager, not to mention that the hotel, the rooms, and the common areas are wonderful!!"
