Insotel Punta Prima Prestige Suites and Spa

"We spent two wonderful weeks at the Insotel Punta Prima Prestige and felt completely at home. We would especially like to highlight the extremely friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. You feel welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. The breakfast was very delicious, varied, and left almost nothing to be desired. Dinner also impressed us with a large selection and good quality. There was truly something for every taste. The separate Prestige pool area is beautiful and offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. At the same time, you can use all the facilities of the adjacent Insotel Punta Prima Club, which is a great advantage, especially for families with children. We really liked the great playgrounds and numerous offerings for children. Another highlight was the beautiful sauna with a sea view as well as our own whirlpool on the rooftop terrace. The entire complex and our accommodation were very clean and well-maintained. The location is also excellent: The sea is just a few steps away, and there are good shopping options as well as various restaurants in the immediate vicinity. For those who would like to discover more beaches on Menorca, we recommend a rental car. The beach right by the hotel is beautifully situated, although the sea there can be quite rough depending on the weather and wind. Overall, a truly great hotel that offers both relaxation and plenty of variety for families. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend the Insotel Punta Prima Prestige without reservation!"

"Good location 4 minutes walk to nice beach. Local bus service every hour to Mahon (€1.80 cash) Prestige Suites quiet and relaxing. Rooms were fabulous with microwave, two ring stove, pots, cutlery etc. No dishcloths as all dirty dishes taken care of by room service personnel. Huge balcony with sun beds and table and chairs. Pool bar great service albeit a bit pricey. Restaurant food was good with acceptable choices. Drinks were a bit expensive, however I guess you pay for a more select atmosphere in the lounge bar and restaurant."

"Our stay from September 30 to October 3 started off very pleasant, but ended up leaving a very bittersweet taste. The main problem arose on the last day: we paid €110 for a late check-out and, shortly after, our airline canceled our flight. When we requested that the amount be applied toward an additional night at the hotel, they refused to do so and kept us waiting at the front desk for about four hours until they offered us a solution that, in practice, meant paying for the room again, while keeping the €110 for the late check-out. In addition, during our stay we had other issues: plates and glasses with food residue and ants next to our room for several days, gardening noise for practically an entire day, lack of availability of irons, and bathroom amenities that were quite sparse for a five-star hotel. It is a shame, because the hotel and the surroundings are beautiful and our experience had been very good. Precisely for that reason, the lack of flexibility and customer service in an exceptional situation is so disappointing. We expected service consistent with the establishment's category."
