Novotel Paris la Defense

"This is a nightmare of a hotel! - In the middle of SEPTEMBER, they decided to turn off the central AC to make profit!!!! Imagine, the room is hot like an oven, I arrived (sick) in the evening, I turn on the AC, it doesn't give cold air. I call the operator, he rudely says that they turn off the AC starting September. I tell him but you advertise that you have AC, he says yes only in August. 300 EUROS PER NIGHT and they want to make more profit by turning off the AC. I asked him for a fan at least because the room is 40 degrees Celsius hot, he said they dont have. I asked him to open the window! Doesn't open, it is locked!!!! I had to go at 8pm to Aushan and Carefour to look for a fan to buy! - I forgot an item in my room at my departure. My friend in Paris came twice to ask for it and they tell him there is nothing found, aka stolen by the staff. One week later they email me that they found it and give me an appointment to send someone to pick it up. When my friend goes to the appointment to pick it up, they tell him that the employee who has the keys left already!!! Come another time. I have not seen a motel more unprofessional than this so called 4 stars joke of a hotel!!! - Imagine, they removed the mini fridge from the room and put a metallic board in its place (check the photos) - The check in process took 40 minutes, I was 3rd in line... Imagine if it was really busy!! - They have no taxi!!!! - They claim they are next to the metro station "esplanade de la defence", true but goog luck carrying your suitcase over a 100 step stairs that is unavoidable!! - The bed sheets are low quality and sticky during the night (least of the problems) - Why are you charging 300 euros per night for this terrible motel??? - Of course, no need to mention, there are no toiletries, because they are "GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣"

"It looks like a Mercure. Just average in every way: rooms (not even a minibar), breakfast meh, elevators insufficient. Certainly not a tourist hotel, even if it is well located near line 1, which goes directly to the center of Paris. Average hotel, but XXXL price"

"Well located. Lobby that deserves a significant makeover. Efficient welcome that could be warmer. Good-sized room as well as the bathroom, but the toilet is not separate. Nice TV and coffee machine. Breakfast over $20 in a room without soul or windows."
