Kalimera Hotel

"We’ve spent two weeks here and it’s a very relaxing family run hotel, from the pool there are good views over the sea through a cactus garden. Flora is a fantastic source of knowledge for exploring the island. The local bus stops almost outside and it’s only €2.20 per person to get into the island’s capital. Santorini isn’t known for its beaches but it’s only a 16 minute walk to pick up a small boat to Red Beach. The archaeological museum is also a 25 minute walk - think of a mini Pompeii. The main town has fantastic items from the dig.There are at least 6 restaurants in the village within a 10 minute walk. This hotel really makes us feel well looked after - highly recommended."

"Just got back from our second year in a row at Kalimera Hotel. This stay was particularly special as I proposed to my fiancée while we were here. What a great place. If you are looking for exceptional value for money in Santorini, this place is hard to beat. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well maintained with proper air conditioning and lovely balconies. The amenities make staying here really effortless. Breakfast is included every morning with a great spread to start the day. They also have food available at set times throughout the day, which is ideal for grabbing a quick lunch or snack by the pool between outings. What really makes Kalimera stand out is the team. The staff are so warm, friendly, and accommodating. They truly make you feel at home. Plus a special shoutout to Orion the dog, who is an absolute legend and made coming back to the hotel every day even better! We could not have asked for a better home base for such a memorable trip. We will definitely be back"

"Beautiful and affordable hotel with a pool located in Akrotiri, whose rooms are individually located within a mini village that seems to recreate a miniature Santorini. Rooms are always very clean; by the way, I never saw a single bug flying around our accommodation, a sign of great care for the green spaces inside the property. Impeccable air conditioning, equipped with a "start&stop" system in case the window is opened. Sweet and savory buffet breakfast, with the possibility of sitting in 3 different locations: the small room, in front of the bar, and poolside. Our bed and pillows were very comfortable, while the room in general was a bit small; furthermore, we had problems with the minibar, which was not working. On the side, there is a parking area with a dirt surface and some small potholes; it is important not to speed to preserve the car tires. In any case, in front of the hotel there is another public parking area that overlooks a beautiful view (although in the morning it can happen that there is a crowd of tourists taking photographs, the parking is safe). Finally, a note of merit to Flora, with whom we always communicated very well in Italian; she is always available and a hard worker. By the way, just for info, besides Italian, she speaks at least 3 other languages (Greek, English, and French)."
