"Beautiful luxury property just a few minutes walk from the Rijks Museum. Our studio hotel room was spacious, with a wonderful bathroom and very comfortable bed. This hotel is nestled in a very quiet location, yet walking distance to all the great sites. It was a special treat to spend 2 nights in this beautiful hotel on our Amsterdam visit!"

"We chose this hotel as it was not in the centre, but easy to get to from the station and not too far from then things we wanted to see, including an evening ballet performance on our arrival day. The hotel is located down a side street, a few doors down from a school, and only a couple of minutes from a metro stop (which is itself only a couple of stops from central station) with bars and restaurants nearby. Our regular double room was clean and compact (but not the smallest we have stayed in - see my reviews of Copenhagen and Stockholm!) on the third floor overlooking the entrance courtyard. We had paid for the breakfast, which was 19 euro (I think) each: there was plenty of choice of teabags (never a given) and a coffee machine, as well as very good juices. The meats and cheeses were standard, as were the bread and pastries - perfectly acceptable but standard hotel pre-purchased, nothing home made or artisanal. The scrambled egg as a bit dry, but there were quite nice small omlettes also available, plus bacon and/or sausages and a range of fruit, yoghurt and cereals. There was a vending machine n the lobby, and the lower ground floor (where breakfast was served) was also home to an honesty bar - we didn't try that as we were out most of the time, but it would have been nice on a rainy evening. There were also books and board games available. Tea, coffee and chilled water were available 24/7 (free) in the lobby, and the room had a carafe for refilling, plus a small fridge which we used to store fresh milk for tea as we don't like the artificial creamers. Nothing romantic or atmosphereic, but clean and conveniently sited."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! Knowing next to nothing about Amsterdam, we had a travel agent to book this, and she found it from some other recommendations. We loved that it was in a neighborhood where all the neighbors were so nice and super cool to help us when we couldn't find the entrance. haha The kitchenette in the room was a great surprise and allowed us the chance to grab some things at the local grocery store. I also loved having the constant available water that tasted amazing. A wonderful hotel that we'd definitely stay in again!"
