Mirachoro Carvoeiro

"Our second time at Mirachoro hotel and once again really enjoyed the stay. (mostly) Nearly all the rooms have been refurbished and are cleaned daily if required. The hotel is spotless and cleanliness is a priority. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food, the staff replenishing regularly. The hotel food and drink prices are very reasonable. All of the staff, especially the reception and bar staff are very friendly and accommodating. Sunbeds around the pool were always available ( late September, early October) The hotel is superbly located for the restaurants and bars in Carvoeiro. There was only one issue, which was no fault of the hotel. On a couple of days we were treated to poolside shenanigans from a few loudmouth groups ( aged 50 plus) who thought it would be a good idea to play their own music accompanied by regular very loud swearing and unfunny anecdotes that nobody else was interested in. Although they thought they were hilarious. All in an environment where children were present. Thus I’ll leave you with a tip. Take some headphones."

"This is a terrific hotel in a superb location. Wonderful staff. Property is clean and tidy and offers an amazing breakfast from 8am-11am. The rooms are small & cupboard space is inadequate for 2 people. However the balcony is lovely and the rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. Special mentions go to Usman, Roaid & Alex who run the pool bar and are always courteous, professional and efficient. Really the staff are what make this hotel so good. Very genuine and happy to help. They are also loyal so it must be a nice place to work. Bring your own beach towels and set up a tab when you check in because paying by cash is ALWAYS a problem."
