Portimão Center Hotel

"My husband and I have been regular guests at this hotel for three years, choosing it consecutively as the destination for my annual vacation due to the excellent standard of service to which we are accustomed, namely the breakfast and the daily cleaning. Unfortunately, this year's stay was a huge disappointment, marked by a total degradation of services due to the change in management. Upon arrival, we were given a room in terrible condition, which had mold and widespread dampness in the bathtub, in addition to ants on the floor. When reporting the situation at the reception, the service employee showed complete disinterest. Stated that there were no other rooms available and guaranteed that they would leave a note for the cleaning team to solve the problem the next day. We came to find out later, through another colleague, that the employee lied, did not record any notes, and deliberately ignored our request to avoid work. Garbage collection and towel changes will now be done every 4 days (which already represents a step backward from the previous daily cleaning). However, even this rule was not followed. On the fourth day, no one showed up in the room to change the towels or restock the toilet paper (which was only provided on the first day and is not replenished). The daily cleaning of the rooms was eliminated, the pool hours were severely reduced (closing at 6:00 PM instead of 9:00 PM), and the breakfast—once a strong point—was deprived of its usual variety and quality, limited to half a dozen basic items. I would like to commend and thank the posture of the second receptionist who assisted us later after we complained again. This employee was helpful, corrected the information from the previous colleague, and proceeded with the room change, demonstrating the professionalism that was lacking in the rest of the structure. It is inadmissible that a new management decides to cut the minimum standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and respect for the guest for the sake of the business's profit. They should reconsider the name of the Hotel, to Apartments Center Hotel, because if they don't provide daily cleaning, it shouldn't even be considered a hotel."

"LACK OF HONESTY AND SECURITY IN ROOM 110 I forgot a cosmetic tweezer for eyebrows on the floor of room 110 (next to the bed near the balcony). I called the hotel right at lunchtime, as soon as I noticed the shortage and before new guests arrived. I spoke with Mr. Ivo, I gave the exact location and offered to pay for shipping. The employee hurried to say that "there was nothing there." Since I knew the location, I tried to call back to ask for clarification, but the hotel deliberately rejected my subsequent calls—I made a total of 10 consecutive phone calls and no one answered or returned the call. An evasive, regrettable attitude that demonstrates a total lack of collaboration, honesty, and respect for the customer. Management completely discarded an object reported immediately after check-out. I do not recommend it due to the lack of security and professional ethics of the staff! "Very bad ever had in my life this hotel."
