Intercontinental Estoril

"Luxury is not about the price tag, it’s about how you are made to feel! At Intercontinental Cascais-Estoril the staff truly make you feel very special and look after you so well. We spent our wedding anniversary here, 4 nights and it was pure luxury. The service is exceptional, breakfast is breathtaking with views of the Atlantic and the Cascais bay. The rooms are superb and have everything. A real treat and we definitely will return."

"We enjoyed our time at the Intercontinental. We did two connecting rooms which worked well for our family. While the rooms were clean they smelled a bit like smoke when we checked in and it took a while for the smell to dissipate. The king room was as advertised “cozy” but the corner room with two beds was more spacious. We were on the same level as the pool so not much of a view from the balcony but we had booked a corner room The pool is nice but my son was disappointed when he wasn’t allowed to bring his ball in even when there was no one in the pool. The lunch by the pool was also disappointing. Breakfast is great with an amazing view of the water and good food. The staff was also very nice and turned on World Cup games for us in the middle of the night in the lobby. They would offer waters on our way out. The breakfast was gorgeous and phenomenal spread. The hotel is on the water but you need to walk a few minutes to the beach. The town of Cascais is probably close to a 20 minute walk to the part you want to spend time in. Ubers are very inexpensive though so it’s not a big deal. Assuming the smell of smoke was a one off the hotels nice and we would recommend it."
