"From 7.10-15.10
The hotel is terrible, no 5-star, maximum 3. Bought UA, in fact, you could have eaten shawarma at a neighboring dive with the same success. The staff is lazy, to solve the issue you have to nag them 10 times... it's not a vacation, it's constant nerves.
Check-in: Only one buggy travels across the entire territory, so to get your suitcases to your room, you'll have to catch the driver anywhere on the territory (which is not small, but that's later), we were taken to the old buildings, farthest from the main lobby and "restaurant." The room number was on the second floor, near the door there was a cleaning trolley and some old, wet, smelly mattress. To my surprised exclamations, "What is this?!" the hotel employee replied, "It's okay, I don't know!"... we asked them to remove this junk from our door, as a result, they rolled the mattress to the next one, and the cleaning cart stood at our entrance for two weeks.
Number: it's a quiet horror... everything is visible in the photo: mold in the shower, stained carpet, battered creaky furniture, sticky spots on all surfaces, dirty dishes, rusty uncleaned toilet, a yellow disgusting toilet seat, streaks and drips on the mirrors, an extractor fan rattling like in horror movies, a broken drain in the sink (I had to improvise a prop from a stick so that the water would drain somehow), stains on the sheets and towels, once they brought towels with cigarette holes in them. They never gave us clean towels. During the "cleaning" of the room, the maid did not replace the towels, but just picked up the dirty ones from the floor, folded them, and left them as they were. I had to get clean towels, paper, and soap myself from the cart that was by the door. The toilet paper is so thin that it crumbles in your hands. This is not an exaggeration, I haven't seen paper like this even in public toilets in shopping centers. The bedding has not been changed ONCE in 8 nights, the minibar has not been vacuumed or restocked ONCE. When asked why the minibar isn't updated, they replied that you need to ask the reception (what? in a ultra 5* you have to ask them to put drinks in the minibar)
At the request to change the room number, we were sent "for tomorrow" for two days because there were supposedly no rooms, and the third time, when I could no longer hide my irritation in my voice, we were told "come tomorrow" again, they promised to give us the opportunity to see the room before checking in, but when we arrived at the appointed time and demanded to see the room, we were refused. As a result, they decided not to move anywhere because they realized that everywhere in this dying sanatorium would be a pigsty.
Food: if you are expecting a varied buffet in a UA 5*, it is not there. You will be satisfied with 12 types of chicken in all possible sauces, with all possible types of rice. If you saw crabs in the reviews and photos, it's true, they pop up there once on Wednesdays. If you are willing to stand in line for entry and fight for small crabs with a crowd of equally eager people for any kind of variety, then maybe you can snag a couple. The food is mediocre, monotonous. Fruits ran out several times a week; there were days when they weren't brought out at all. The grill zone always burned the meat for some reason, and the pasta zone has the cheapest pasta with bland sauces; the desserts also lack variety. In general, you can find something to get by, but you can't enjoy Turkish cuisine. Food like in a medium-quality cafeteria. The dishes are dirty, sometimes the cutlery has food residue, poorly washed glasses, and conditional tablecloths with stains and holes. The alcohol is disgusting, instead of sparkling wine, it's a dry, sour local brut, there is no good strong alcohol, FES beer is terrible, they only give it on tap, there are no canned drinks at all.
Hotel territory: yes, it is beautiful, lots of greenery, tranquility and silence, this is probably the only plus that allows you to switch off a little from everything else. BUT! There is a huge number of cats roaming the territory that eat uneaten food from tables, sleep on fabric armchairs in the lobby, on beds, climb onto the balcony of the room, and so on. I love cats, but their number and the fact that they are wild and dirty and sleep on hotel towels is horrible. There is also a "mini zoo" on the territory, where ducks, rabbits, chickens, and roosters live, which crow at dawn and don't let you forget where you are.
Beach: good, wide, the entry into the sea is tolerable if you enter in thick-soled sandals, there are many large stones on the bottom, the beach itself is pebbly. Finding a lounger is not a problem; the system for borrowing and issuing beach towels is nominally present, all vacationers just carry dry towels from a perpetually closed booth that is supposed to issue them. In the end, the towels are taken to the room and used for a week. Having learned from the experience of other good hotels where the towel dispensing system works on the principle of "if you want to swim - exchange a card for a towel, you are guaranteed a free sunbed," we tried to follow this rule in the first few days, but there was never any staff at the booth, the booth itself operates on a strange schedule and is closed most of the time. On the third day, the staff working in the neighboring bar said, "Just take it yourselves, if no one is watching, you won't wait for anyone here." Cool)
Staff: I don't understand what is happening with this hotel, but everything in it seems to be dying, including the staff, who not only DON'T do their job, but also don't respond to requests. Everything is done with such a mediocre attitude and eye-rolling that sometimes I don't even want to approach the staff, and it's easier to solve your own problem: need clean towels? take them yourself from the cart, they are scattered on every floor. On the evening program, it's cold and you want to ask for a blanket? They don't have that - go look for something yourself. Do you want the dirty knives and forks replaced at lunch? You better go wash it yourself, otherwise you'll be without appliances for half an hour. And so on...
Evening program: bad. I don't even want to describe it. Not a single show was watched to the end. Live music is also not of high quality.
Only independent trips to Antalya and a bottle of strong liquor brought along saved the vacation.
Don't waste time and money on this sanatorium."
