"We have just completed our fourth stay at Gold by Marina, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. This hotel has genuinely become one of those places we return to without hesitation, and every visit reminds us exactly why we keep coming back. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. The warm greeting and a glass of cava for us was such a lovely personal touch. It immediately made us feel relaxed and at home, and was the perfect start to our stay. Gold by Marina is a beautiful hotel that perfectly combines vintage charm with modern style. The wonderful team is what really makes this hotel special, everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Their genuine warmth made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished, extremely clean and well soundproofed. A lovely, super-comfortable large bed made for a great night’s sleep. A little tip for future guests: if you’re given a room with twin beds but would prefer a double, just ask at reception. The team can provide a mattress topper to join the beds together, making them incredibly comfortable and giving you the feel of a king-size bed. We particularly enjoyed the balcony—it was nice to sit out there and enjoy a coffee in the morning. Modern bathroom felt fresh and clean with nice toiletries, large towels, quality bathrobes and slippers. We enjoyed the large bath complete with bath fizz balls, perfect for a long soak, and the separate walk-in shower was really powerful. The kitchenette in the room was a very useful and practical feature that added to the overall comfort of our stay. If don’t need your room cleaning the hotel offers a sustainable initiative called My Gesture for Nature, let the hotel know 24 hours in advance and you receive a €4 discount on your bill for pool bar extras —a great way to help reduce water and energy consumption while enjoying a little reward. The hotel facilities are excellent. There are two beautiful swimming pools, both spotlessly clean and inviting, with the perfect temperature. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers made it easy to relax and enjoy the sunshine at any time of day. The Tropic Attic on the fourth floor was another real highlight. We loved the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi — the perfect tranquil spot to relax, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the beautiful views. We really loved all the thoughtful little touches that made relaxing by the pool even more special. The popcorn at the poolside bar was such a tasty treat, and we also enjoyed the frozen mini cocktails and wine samples brought around during the day. These little touches made us feel so well looked after and really added to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere around the pool. We had delicious poolside lunch, the Gold Combo was a great offer. The Pinsa Romana was crispy, soft and cheesy, served with hot chips and a refreshing drink, absolutely scrumptious. Breakfast was included in our stay and, as always, it was one of the highlights of our mornings. There was such a lovely variety of fresh, tasty and healthy options, with plenty to choose from whatever we fancied. We particularly enjoyed the hot-food station, where everything was cooked to order and served with such warmth by the friendliest, happiest staff. Their smiles and cheerful nature always put us in a good mood and made breakfast feel that little bit more special. The breakfast team worked so hard behind the scenes to keep everything fresh, beautifully presented and fully stocked, and it never went unnoticed. The coffee was superb, the freshly squeezed juice was delicious, and the fresh bread was honestly hard to resist. One of our favourite things was sitting outside by the pool, enjoying a leisurely late-morning breakfast without feeling rushed. It became such a lovely part of our daily routine — good food, sunshine, a great cup of coffee and friendly faces. It was relaxed, unhurried and the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is great — just a short walk from the beach and close to plenty of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. It was so convenient and made exploring the area really easy. Once again, we have had an absolutely fantastic stay at Gold by Marina. Four stays in, and we can honestly say that the standards remain consistently high. Every visit feels just as enjoyable as the last, and we always leave feeling relaxed, Gold by Marina has firmly become one of our favourite places to stay, and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it. Thank you to the entire team for another unforgettable stay — we can't wait to come back for stay number five!"

"We had a fantastic stay at the hotel and were really impressed from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. Our room was brilliant — spacious, comfortable and spotlessly maintained. The beds were really comfy, and the pillow menu was such a great touch, allowing you to choose the pillow that suited you best for an extra-comfortable night’s sleep. The shower was also excellent, with great water pressure, and the additional pole for hanging swimsuits was a small but incredibly handy touch that you don’t always get in hotels. Our room was cleaned every day and towels were regularly replenished. There were also some lovely little surprises throughout our stay. We received a welcome drink when we arrived, and one evening came back to find some local beer waiting for us in the room, which was a really thoughtful touch. The pool area was always clean and well looked after, with great drinks available and, importantly, we never struggled to find a sunbed. Pool towels were also provided, which made things nice and easy. One of our favourite touches came on our last day. Our flight wasn’t until late at night, so after checking out we were able to use a courtesy room for 30 minutes when we returned from the beach. It was such a thoughtful service and meant we could freshen up and shower before heading to the airport rather than spending the rest of the day feeling like we were between hotels. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. It was the combination of the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and all the thoughtful little touches that really stood out. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

"Just completed another week - the 6th visit - and Gold still appeals. Upper sun deck with jacuzzi was empty all week which was very relaxing. Love the new pink flooring. I do stay at other hotels in the area but Gold will always be in the thought process when booking."
