"Okay, we are not that difficult. Dated apartment but we had a little garden with a terrace, palms in the garden. View of the pool!! Beautiful. The neighborhood is a bit boring compared to the center. The two beaches nearby are beautiful but small. The pool was clean and nice. But really the restaurant, close it, renovate it, and fire the chefs. The food is the same every day. The croissants are white, the breadsticks too. The meat is unappetizing. There is little choice. The tap drinks were salty at one point!! Water with a salty taste. But the most important thing!!! My husband had raw chicken on his plate at one point. Because I have been transplanted, I don't eat meat or eggs. Nevertheless, I got so sick on day 2. Doctors and ambulances have been here. Received injection. I've only been sleeping. Everything we ate and drank afterwards we bought ourselves! It is now day 4 and I am still not better. In the days that followed, NO ONE from the hotel came by to ask how we were or if we needed help. There was an ambulance with flashing lights. Really ridiculous. My bed was not changed after the injection under the blood. And then when my husband said I would draw the bath, the bathwater was piss yellow. Didn't sleep the last night because of the sewage smell after the rain, and afterwards there was a penetrating sulfur smell. Really Gavimar, renovate your buildings, but especially do something about that food. I have been transplanted so that is already a link. You will meet a weaker person who dies because as you can read, I am not the only one. So very sad and sorrowful this!!!"

"Very quiet area, few shops and restraunts up the road just outside of the hotel, beach cove around the corner €17 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. Food is ok but very repetitive but if you dont like fish there isnt many other options. We paid for all inclusive but ended up eating out every night of the week that we stayed here. Breakfast and dinner are edible but again very limited choices. Rooms are ok but very dated, we did have an issue with ants crawling up the walls and in the rooms but once mentioned to the cleaners it was sorted very quickly. Entertainment team are amazing, Georgi, Daniella and Alia. Very good with all the children and even adults during activities. Always have a smile on their faces and encouraging people to get involved. 3 lovely girls who are a credit to the hotel. States it is a family friendly hotel but ramps up to the lifts and rooms are very tight and only just fit a pram up them. My brand new pram has all scuffs and it didn’t fit up the ramps or through the doors properly. If you have mobility issues or are in a wheelchair, there is no access to restraunt and pool area as both doors havw 2 steps to get up to them. Staff arent very considerant of familys with young children. We were told that we had to move table inside the restaurant or sit outside as our pram was in the way. Other people were able to get past the pram without any issues but the restaurant staff seemed to have a problem. We paid for late checkout until 3pm as our transfer to the airport wasnt until 6.30/7pm but they cut our key to our room off at 10am even though checkout wasnt until 11am. The lady on reception with the glasses and dark hair then proceeded to give me a card which allowed access to the room until 3pm but cut my all inclusive wristband off and told me i was unable to get food or drinks unless we paid €10 each to get dinner in the restaurant, snacks from the pool bar or any drinks. We have a 2year old daughter which they were telling us we couldn’t feed or give her a drink in the hotel. Dinner is 1pm-3pm, we checked in at 2.45pm and I told her that by time we had gotten up to the room, put cases in and get back down to the restaurant we got told dinner had stopped and it was too late so we was unable to get anything in which she responded that it wasnt her problem and it was our own fault. Apparently we had plenty of time to get food and should of left our cases in reception on arrival. Not very professional at all. The rest of the reception staff are lovely aswell as the bar staff but they really need to reconsider some staff who are greeting guests on arrival and throughout their stay. The jet2 rep has been here for 30 min max out of a 1 week stay. Its an okay place to stay considering the price but i will not be returning. Dont expect anything decent as you do get what you pay for, it is lucky it has 3 stars as id say its more of a 2 star hotel."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel, for a 3 star hotel, it exceeded all our expectations and a lot of these negative reviews really are not representative of the experience we had here. Room - the room was basic but clean, shower was powerful, A/C excellent, a few odd ants but not an issue and wouldn’t have noticed them unless I read the reviews prior to the trip, gorgeous balcony with a beautiful view. Food - food was always fresh & warm, good variety every day and we always found something to eat. The snack bar throughout the day was a lovely touch. Staff & entertainment - staff were extremely friendly, entertainment was fantastic, we watched the magician and parrot shows. Location - this really was the absolute highlight of the holiday. The location is FANTASTIC. 2 minute walk from a gorgeous beach where the fruit man visits often, 10 minute walk from Es Forti a beautiful old fort with great views and 2 minute walk from Cala Egos resort centre with a variety of shops & restaurants. 30 minute walk from Cala d’Or town centre but there is also an amazing Ting Ting Shuttle Train which stops directly outside the hotel hourly. Overall we would 100% return to this hotel and had a fabulous time."
