Bianco Olympico Beach Hotel

"I would like to ask if the manager has ever actually stayed anywhere in the world and knows what a 4-star rating means? Where has he been to make such a claim? Where was the certificate for this pathetic excuse for a hotel? And I don't want a "yes, sorry" response; I want him to show our reviews to the owner. Everything about this health resort is a massive lie. The lights get turned off at 9 PM during dinner; at lunchtime, people can't enjoy their vacation in peace because tables are being cleared away. I feel sorry for the staff who have to bear the brunt of all the negativity. The food is absolutely abysmal. Where is the head chef from, anyway? The beach is filthy—it looks like no one has set foot there in years—though at least the water is wonderful. It’s just dirt everywhere. Ten umbrellas for 90 rooms? 4 stars???? I want to thank Flavio and Galina for making me feel welcome. Oh, and the cockroaches and the smell in the rooms... I ask the manager not to give the usual canned response—blah, blah, blah."

"I’m genuinely surprised by the number of positive reviews. Having stayed in many 4- and 5-star hotels, I can honestly say this did not feel like a 4-star resort. In my experience, it felt much closer to a 3-star property. The hotel is old, tired and poorly maintained, with mould in some bathrooms, unpleasant drainage smells and damaged interiors. Some reception staff also displayed an attitude that I found completely inappropriate for a supposed 4-star establishment. The rooms had virtually no soundproofing. We could hear conversations, doors and walls being banged in the middle of the night, and even other guests snoring through the walls. It made getting a decent night’s sleep extremely difficult. The food was very disappointing and repetitive, with dishes appearing to be reused for later meals. We stayed for seven days in Greece and were not offered fresh seafood even once, so we ended up eating out. The drinks were equally disappointing. We were expected to pay extra for basic espresso and branded alcohol, while the included spirits were very cheap local brands. The tap wine was so diluted with water that it barely looked or tasted like wine. Even the cheapest Prosecco option ran out on day four and was never restocked for the remainder of our stay. Perhaps this hotel was worthy of 4 stars 20–25 years ago, but it certainly does not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star resort today. It desperately needs investment, refurbishment and significant improvements to its food, drinks, maintenance and service. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not stay here again!"

"Couple's vacation in mid-September 2026. Excellent property with a pool and private beach with clear sea. Welcoming and helpful reception. Continuous room cleaning service, so you can choose your preferred time to have it done. Attentive and helpful dining room waiters. Cheerful and sociable bartenders. As for the buffet, after a few days we discovered why it was so good: because the Executive Chef is Italian, specifically from Bari; the great Chef Giuseppe Ceglie!"
