Radamanthy's Hotel Apartments

"Absolute gem of a place! Staff are all amazing you come as strangers but leave as friends. The place is spotless everywhere and the apartments are fab! Andriana who is amazing invited us to her home where she showed us how to make numerous Greek foods which we all enjoyed as a group with a family from Malta. It was a magical evening. Our stay was very enjoyable (the hill not so) but could not fault the Radamanthys."

"A delightful experience in this small hotel comprising of 29 varied accommodations. Myself and my daughter staled in an apartment for one week. I would say from experience that for a two star hotel this really does provide value for money. The apartment was perfect size for two. A nice balcony to have breakfast or lunch. The surroundings were also very nice, some beautiful flowers and of course olive trees. Lovely views. Cleaning every couple of days and towels which were good quality changed. The pool was really lovely although for me it sloped quiet deeply i.e over my head but I am only 5 foot. Plenty of beds and no loud music, just calm background. There is also a nice sun lounge away from the pool. There is also a bar/cafe which we didn't use much as we were out and about. Sfakaki is a small village with some nice restaurants. Rethymno which is where we were interested in seeing was a 20 minute bus ride away. Tickets from the nearby supermarket. The walk to the bus stop is about 10/15 mins or so and the buses are very regular I think every 30 mins or so. The main road to cross over to the supermarket seemed quite perilous at first, however we soon got used to it. Last bus back is 11.00. We did use a taxi a couple of times which was 20 euros each way. The walk to the beach is also about 15 minutes. The beach was very nice with a place where we bout some amazing cinnamon Donuts :) Marianthe and Adrianna were very friendly and hospitable nothing was too much for them. In fact on arrival, yes the hill to the hotel is very steep, I had advised Marianthe a couple of days before arrival that I had hurt my back and wasn't sure I would get the case up the hill. We arrived early hours in the morning and Marianthe came and drove us up the hill she did the same when we left. The hill was ok just walking up and down it but You would need to be fit ish for example I am 74 and keep fit and managed it ok. Also we were leaving at 7 pm and luckily the apartment was free that day and for a small extra payment we had the room all day allowing us to relax and prepare for our trip home. Overall a lovely quiet relaxing holiday with quality time with my daughter. Just what we wanted. :)"

"Lovely small apartments if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break. Although very hard to get around without a car and as others have already stated it’s not good for people with mobility issues as there is a very steep hill leading up to the apartments."
