"My partner and I are late 20s/early 30s and this hotel is by far the best we’ve ever stayed at! We were all inclusive for a week.
We booked this trip as an easyJet package holiday and couldn’t fault it. Flight times were prefect for us, easyjet rep waiting at Rhodes airport to direct us to the transfer bus, and updates via the app and text for the return transfer.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and taken to our room on a golf buggy. We stayed in a Beach Front Bungalow on the ground floor. The room had the perfect view of the beach, it was clean and lovely decor. Being all inclusive, our mini bar was included and was replenished every other day. It had a few snacks, beer, wine, water, coke, sprite, Fanta etc. we also had fresh bottles of water left in the room daily. The location of our room was close to the main pool (yes the one with the lights) so it was handy when we needed to go back and forth.
When you arrive you’re given a code which is for you to access to the WiFi and enter on the hotels app. The code will ensure the app reflects your board so when you order food or drink, you won’t be requested to pay for anything included. The app had a few functions, but we personally used it mostly for ordering drinks and snacks to your sun lounger. The service was brilliant and the staff were so polite and friendly.
We found the all inclusive to be brilliant. I’ve seen some reviews claiming that a lot of items weren’t included and they were surpised by this, but having done my homework already, I knew that there was items that you’d have to pay for above and beyond the all inclusive.
The ‘buffet’ restaurant is lovely. It’s never overcrowded, the staff are so polite and always come over to top up your drinks, the options are never ending, and on an evening there’s usually someone playing the piano.
Breakfast in the buffet restaurant was lovely, plenty of choice and you could have your own omelettes made fresh.
Lunch was served in the buffet restaurant which also had plenty of choice, or you could order from a small snack menu around the pool, or go to the al a carte restaurant which had some all inclusive options and other options that you had to pay extra for.
Dinner was served in the buffet restaurant, Italian restaurant which had some all inclusive options and some that required some payment, or there was the ‘Cibus’ restaurant which was more of an Asian tapas, again some were included on the all inclusive and some weren’t.
Personally, we used the buffet restaurant every night and loved it, we sometimes had the buffet lunch, ate at the Al a carte once and quite often had snacks around the pool. I’d highly recommend the Greek Tacos for a snack by the pool!
This was the first time we had stayed at an adults only hotel and it was bliss. The atmosphere around the pool was chilled and every Thursday and Sunday at 12pm there’s a live duet for entertainment. The only downside is they’re only there for an hour and a half. But it’s well worth being around for.
We only ever lounged around the main pool so I can’t comment for the other one. We never failed to get a sunbed, other than the day we returned from a day trip to Lindos at around 4pm. We went for breakfast every morning at 9am and put our towels on a sun lounger en route. The hotel policy is that if you leave sunbeds unattended for longer than 30 minutes you lose them. We did see the staff member near the pool removing towels from time to time, which was fair enough. I’ve seen some people say that they should put more sun loungers out, but the amount of space you have between sun loungers just adds to the relaxing experience and not feeling overcrowded. There was certainly no ‘sunbed wars’.
Overall we loved this hotel and would definitely come back. For the price we paid, it worked out around £50pp per day more to go from half board to all inclusive. We without a doubt got our moneys worth!"
