"We had a wonderful stay at Sandblu. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well maintained, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the service. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming to our family. Traveling with our 5yo daughter, we especially appreciated how easy Sandblu made everything. Our airport transfer was clean and comfortable, and a booster seat was already waiting for her. The team continued to provide one whenever we needed transportation during our stay. Even the welcome drink was perfect after traveling. I believe it was the mountain water, and it was delicious and so refreshing. The concierge team was wonderful and even secured a last-minute sunset dinner reservation for our final night after we procrastinated making plans because we were enjoying the island so much. Thank you, Poly, for helping us pack our wine. Our room was amazing and kept well cleaned the whole stay. We particularly enjoyed the patio and private pool. We spent far more time there than expected, including several lunches and dinners outside. I am not usually an outdoors person, but I think we spent nearly eight hours relaxing on that patio during our stay. Housekeeping was kind, respectful, and never intrusive, and I looked forward to the little chocolates left during turndown each evening. Breakfast was also excellent, and our waiter was always friendly and attentive. I especially loved having bottled fresh green juice goodness and other fruit combinations available each morning! Despite not being much of a coffee drinker, I tried the Freddo cappuccino after a recommendation and loved it. The Kids Club was another highlight. The staff were kind, creative, and engaging, and our daughter genuinely loved spending time there. Our daughter became especially attached to guest experience team members Nikoletta and Elena, along with members of the breakfast team who showed her so much kindness throughout our stay. To the lovely breakfast team member at PLATEÍA whom we heard speaking German with another guest, Ich hoffe, wir sehen uns eines Tages wieder! :) My family is from Germany, so hearing you speak German made me smile. We were sorry we did not get to properly say goodbye. The spa was beautiful and so relaxing. They were also very accommodating with scheduling when availability allowed. My spouse spent quite a bit of his time there and loved it. Spyros, who drove us to Blu Restaurant on our last night, was wonderful. We enjoyed learning about the island from him, and he has such a calm, soothing demeanor. Henry was also fantastic with our airport pickup and transportation assistance, as was everyone we encountered at the property. Even after checkout, the service continued. I misplaced my keys and contacted the hotel through WhatsApp. The team immediately helped coordinate a thorough search. We eventually found them elsewhere, but even days after our stay, Sandblu treated us as though we were still current guests. That level of consistency and care is rare. We also loved Kamari Beach and only wish we had visited sooner. One small tip for other guests: bring water shoes because it gets rocky right before entering the water. We truly did not have one negative experience. Sandblu made our time in Santorini incredibly special. Our daughter now says Santorini is her favorite place to visit, cried on our flight home, and still talks about the team members. We cannot wait to return and would recommend Sandblu without hesitation, especially to families looking for a beautiful resort where children are genuinely welcomed."

"Wow! This hotel was everything and more. Your experience begins at the airport where you receive complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel. We were greeted by the most pleasant staff and taken to the hotel in an air-conditioned car that had cool towels, cold water and eye patches. That just set the time for what was an amazing week staying at the sand blu. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by the most helpful staff and this continues for your whole stay. The staff are exceptional, they cannot do enough for you and it feels like it is genuinely their pleasure to make your stay the best it can possibly be. This applies to all staff without exception whether it be those on reception, working in the restaurant, room service or in the shops I can honestly say these staff were the nicest I had ever met and this is why your stay at SandBlu feels like paradise. We stayed as a family in a deluxe suite, which was perfect for us as a family. There was a main bedroom and then a separate living area that converted into the kids bedrooms with twin beds. A large bathroom with separate toilet and the most beautiful balcony looking out over the hills and the sea. It was exceptionally comfortable decorated in a stylish way and had the extras, including bath robes and slippers which gave you the five star feel. The two pools made you spoilt for choice and a short walk to the dedicated spot on the beach was ideal. Had huge comfortable mattresses and fresh towels and the staff were hugely attentive throughout the day. We had the absolute pleasure of undertaking our vow renewals at this beautiful hotel at the on-site Chapel. The staff were amazing organising this for us and even creating a special menu that was memorable to us as a family in their beautiful restaurant, Neptune. The staff gave recommendations of a photographer and an officiant to undertake the ceremony and both delivered fantastic service. We made beautiful memories here - it was more special than I could’ve hoped. If you have the pleasure of eating at the on-site restaurants for breakfast or dinner or even taking advantage of the beautiful pastries at the on-site bakery you will not be disappointed. Breakfast and dinner at this hotel are phenomenal with everything thought through and delivered with perfect precision. The food really was exceptional. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle of Kamari but close enough to walk into the village within 10 minutes. This location was perfect from our perspective and the views were truly special. I watched the sunrise on two occasions from the dedicated areas and I felt like I was in heaven. This hotel has everything you could possibly need, including a brilliantly equipped gym, kids , wine cellar, various shops amongst others. This hotel showcased Santorini at its very best. We were treated like family and were genuinely sad to go home. We will be back without hesitation - thank you for making our stay so wonderful."
