Relais Santa Anastasia

"We wanted to be in this area so that we could go hiking. There are not a lot of hotel options. First impressions the place looks beautiful, but the rooms and the pool area are very outdated and could use some updating. Dinner at the hotel was only ok. Breakfast was nice , but did nit start until 7:30, so no option for coffee earlier then this. Castlebueno was a 15 minute drive and worth a day visit ."

"We spent 5 days at this property on a B&B basis; starting with the positive aspects, I would mention their wine and the common areas of the relais. Otherwise a bad experience, enough to make me doubt I would return to the property, inattentive and impolite staff, retro rooms (90s style) with baroque-style curtains and furnishings, presence of ants in the room, and poor customer service. Culinary offerings at the bar limited to piadinas. Restaurant with limited and often repetitive choices, no proposals for outdoor activities, and inside the property there is only the pool and the winery tour as activities. The place is over 25 minutes away from the town of Castelbuono (10 of which are on a rough, partially dark dirt road). Breakfast of poor quality and with little variety."

"beautiful property, great restaurant and brealfast, amazing pool, nice position but a big but. the road to reach this resort is simply horrible, not sure why it does not get fixed. we decided not to move out of the hotel too much since everydrive in or out was simply a great pain . potholes, and all sorts of difficulties , making it every time a 10-15 minutes pain before reaching the main road. pity since otherwise enchanting place"
