"Very disappointing stay, and above all a real security problem. Review modified after my complaint was processed by the group's management. We stayed four nights as a family in August, in a Junior Suite. The positive points first: the location is ideal, right in the center of Cannes, a few minutes from the Croisette. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the service staff was pleasant throughout the stay. Our stay was unfortunately marked by an incident at the pool area. People from outside the hotel had been able to access it, while our children were swimming there. After we reported it to the front desk, the situation escalated: very inappropriate remarks were made toward us and an altercation followed, which our children witnessed. At the time, we regretted not having been better supported and not having been able to speak with management. On the other hand, I would like to highlight the quality of the follow-up after our departure. Following a written complaint, the group's management re-examined the file very seriously: courteous and precise exchanges, recognition of points to improve, apologies, the correction of a billing error, and a significant commercial gesture, paid out quickly. Few establishments go this far, and that is the reason why I wanted to modify my initial review. 3/5 — the hotel would deserve more, and the way our complaint was handled counted for a lot."

"Very disappointed by this hotel, clearly not up to the standard of a 4-star. No 4-star service: no telephone in the room, no luggage assistance, problems with cleanliness and equipment, and above all a total lack of follow-up. Sometimes particularly unpleasant attitudes also made the stay even more disappointing. The management itself acknowledged the problems and admitted that they did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. Despite this, no commercial gesture was made. Value for money: zero. The only real strong point remains the location. Without it, it would be zero."

"The perfect hotel - my new home away from home. Everything about the hotel was top tier. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything and a block away from Croisette Beach. The property is fantastic with a wonderful pool area with lots of seating. The room was large and very comfortable, including a small balcony. The wifi was so fast that Netflix never had to buffer. The AC worked well which was necessary given how hot it was. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus. But most of all, it was the service that really made the stay as good as it was. Absolutely top tier customer service from start to finish. Everyone was very helpful and there was never anything they wouldn’t do for you. The staff were very friendly, always saying hello with a smile on their face, and even left a personalized welcome note with a free drink at the downstairs bar. Overall this hotel was absolutely perfect. It was my first stay in the south of France but certainly not my last, and Hotel Le Canberra is my new home away from home. Highly recommend."
