Le Metropolitan

"This is not a 5 star hotel anymore. 3rd stay here in 4 years. 2 stars for location. Front staff was miserable and when air conditioning didn't work room 126, was met with an excuse. Rm 126 had a glass bathroom, no privacy with your room mate or spouse and the glass wall seperating the room from the bathroom had a gap so you could hear shower, toilet flush everything.. Asked to exchange rooms and was met with resistance from the Blonde female at the front desk office that it was 'my fault that I didn't check their website to see what the rooms looked like'. I said, this is my 3rd stay here, check my last review with that she shut up, had no problems before. Also there was no sheer curtain in rm 126 so if you wanted fresh air because the air conditioning didn't work, the whole world could see in your bathroom business and in the room. 2nd day was given room 222. Much better. This room had a sheer curtain so you could open the window and again, the air conditioning did not work. The coolest it got in the room was 80 degrees. This room had a new curtain on the big bathroom window that did not close completely. You had to close the curtain with one hand while doing your business on the toilet. Not worth the effort to complain to the front desk as they were rude and blamed the guests for all of this hotels shortcomings. Even ran into an Elite Bonvoy member in the lobby and he said the same thing, not work complaining tonthe front desk. There was a couple trying to check-in at night, man in a scooter with a cane, apparently there was a problem with providing them the reserved handicapped room and the police were called so that was a scene in the lobby. Honestly, that gentelmens scooter would not have fit in the elevator to get up to the rooms anyway. Both rooms, tub was 19 inches high so if you have any mobility issues, this hotel is not for you. Shame on Marriott. Front desk staff should all be fired because of their attitudes. Arrogant, rude and the customer is not always right at this hotel. Bar and restaurants staff were great especially Jacinto."

"Our stay at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel was truly magical! My daughter and I stayed in Suite 611, featuring the hotel’s beautiful oval windows framing a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. Waking up to that iconic view was unforgettable!eiffel The staff made our stay even more special. A huge thank you to Sergio, Maxine, Sultan, and Stephane for their exceptional service and hospitality. A beautiful Paris experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend!"

"My stay was fantastic! I was thrilled that my Titanium Elite upgrade was honored with a beautiful suite. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel also has a charming boutique feel that made the stay even more special. I especially want to say thank you to Omran for being so incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He truly went above and beyond, helping with taxis, restaurant recommendations, sightseeing, directions, and anything else I needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a wonderful stay even better and is exactly the type of service you remember after a trip. The breakfast was also fantastic and a great way to start each day. The only issue occurred after I checked out, when I noticed I had been charged for the entire minibar even though I hadn’t used anything from it or charged anything to my room. I was disappointed that I had to call to have the charge corrected, but I appreciated that the hotel addressed the issue and refunded it. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would absolutely stay here again. The beautiful suite, Eiffel Tower view, boutique atmosphere, and exceptional staff made it a memorable end to my trip."
