Kriopigi Hotel

"Even though it was the closing week of the season we had the best time. All the staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman waiter (apologies for forgetting his name). Magdalena in the Spa was so lovely, professional, friendly snd helpful. We took advamtage of the free foot spa which was very relaxing. The only hiccup was that 4 of us booked 2 rooms and weren't put close together, 1 room on 1st floor and 2nd room on 3rd floor. We were all offered a move the next morning but our friends on the 1st floor were in the best place so we declined. The rooms were immaculate, the food and choice was very good and the housemaids were exceptional. We would definitely go back just a few weeks earlier"

"We stayed for 14 nights, the weather was good in the main, we did have rain on 2 days. The hotel is very nice inside, we had a sea view, towels were changed daily, small fridge in the room, with a safe. The staff were very friendly, the meals of course were repetitive, the evening meal needs to be of a longer duration, as it gets busy, and tables get filled up quickly, sometimes the food was cold, but they do have a microwave, if you wish to reheat, I know its not there for that purpose, but it did get used. It only has one bar, which is by the pool, which opens at 10 am and closes late, the hotel does need another bar inside the hotel, it has a large sitting area inside the hotel, but no one really uses it apart from, meeting your rep, or waiting for transfer back to the airport, ample space for a bar. They also could move the drinks area for the meals, as everything is on one area, so getting glasses or cups and arranging drinks, becomes like piccadilly circus. We did 2 trips which were organised by our rep, a boat trip to the Monasteries, and one to the caves, card is their preferred method of payment, we wanted to pay cash. For the trips which start early you can order a breakfast box, sandwich, drinks, fruit and cake The trip to the nearby beach takes around 15 to 20 minutes to walk, it is steep, but the hotel provide a shuttle bus every hour, if there are too many to collect, they will return after dropping off people, the bus holds around 8 to 9 people. The beach does have an area set aside for beds and chairs, and a food and drink cabin, a bed and umbrella will cost around 30 euros for the day. The town is small, but has enough restaurants and shops for what you may need, the area is quiet The entertainment staff are good, with games, and for those inclined, Sumba dancing in the pool, which was cold. Around the pool, like most hotels, there are not really enough sunbeds, and as people will "follow" the sun, and move their beds, it can get a little congested, also we do not smoke, and it seemed that everyone else did, vapes or the old fashioned cigarette of different aromas. I you are a cat lover, there are many, and they are very friendly, they will potter up to you and settle themselves next to you."

"Fantastic stay – outstanding entertainment! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My fiancée Elle and I have just returned from a stay at Hotel Kriopigi in Greece, and overall we had a really enjoyable experience. The room was good, the food was enjoyable, and the hotel itself gave us everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. However, what really stood out for us was the entertainment. The entertainment team, with Santiago playing a big part, were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, energetic and always willing to get involved and make sure everyone was having a good time. They genuinely made the days and evenings more fun, and their enthusiasm really made a difference to our stay. I’d also like to give a special personal thank you to two members of the bar team. George was brilliant. He was fantastic at making drinks, always friendly and genuinely a really nice guy. His effort and attitude definitely deserve recognition — in my opinion, he deserves a pay rise for the effort he puts in! And Spyridula was equally fantastic. She was so much fun, made great cocktails and, on top of that, has an amazing singing voice! She brought a really fun atmosphere to the bar and was a pleasure to be around. People like Santiago, George and Spyridula are what make a holiday memorable. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great time.
