Kipriotis Panorama and Suites Hotels

"I must premise that I am not one who stops at reviews, because in the past I did not agree....... Here I share all those I read... Of the 5 stars, I only save the common areas, because they are beautiful and kept decently well: reception, pool, and lounge; I save the panoramic view and the proximity to Kos; for the rest, everything needs to be redone and reviewed. Let's start with the rooms, which are indeed spacious but dated and old. Bathrooms need to be redone, where the smell of sewage accompanies you the whole vacation; nonexistent cleaning. Know that if you decide to go to Kos, it is forbidden to throw toilet paper in the toilet, so you will have to throw the dirty paper in the trash can. They pretend to clean the bathroom, and the still-full trash can stays there. I complained down at the reception and then they emptied it.. They don't even try to make your bed, and for them, cleaning the bathroom means changing the towels; hair was everywhere and remained there. Indecent carpet; I have never seen a vacuum cleaner. And let's get to the food... shameful for a 5-star hotel (105 euros in tourist tax) for a buffet that is like the most low-quality cafeteria, minimalist to the max, a buffet of stale bread and dishes revisited and re-presented the next day. I only save the desserts, which, although repetitive, were good. Table with dirty placemats and set certainly not for a hotel that charges 5-star prices. Sun loungers at the beach old and rusty....... In short, a disappointment... I absolutely do not recommend it... and trust me, don't be fooled by the reviews of the massages that drive up the rating!!!!"

"We were scheduled to stay at the Kipriotis Hypocrites Hotel, which we had booked in February 26, but three day before travelling we were informed that that booking could not be honoured we were to be transferred to the Panorama, which was rated as 5* as opposed to the 4* we had booked, furthermore we were informed that we would be upgraded to a Junior Suite and afforded the ultra All Inclusive package, which we were elated about and gladly accepted. On arrival We were presently pleased by the appearance of the extensive lobby and reception area, but did comment that it was of a late 70s early 80s design. We were told that we had been further upgraded to an executive Suite on the 3 rd floor. On arrival in our appointed Suite, it was patiently obvious that the decor and fixtures were really dated, but must add were kept nicely clean. The bathroom has been adapted for disabled customers and both my wife and myself found using the toilet difficult due to the configuration of the seat. This room was a large suite but executive in name only. The redeeming factor was the comfyness of the extremely large bed. The cleaners worked extremely hard to make the room as cosy as possible. We had some problems with the room and had to make several journeys to reception to report these as the phone was not working and not repaired during the course of our stay. We personally found the reception staff were very professional and we contend them for their friendliness and approachable demeanor. The food wasn't commensurate expected off 5 star, but there was always something available that was acceptable, but the salads were really good. The staffing in the restaurant was obviously not up to strength to fulfil the needs of the number of guests, and their uniforms need upgrading soonest, or an Iron needs introducing to the laundry department. The drinks served at all bars were beyond reproach as were the bar staff. The pools were excellent and well kept. In summery, we had a lovely week in Kos and we had some lovely evenings in the hotel. But we did feel we needed a better quality of food and chose to eat out on occasions in Town. This hotel needs extensive renovations to climb back to its 5 star billing and the longer time elapses until this happens, the harder it will be too gain popularity."

"Really very average hotel, everything at a minimum, far from claiming 5 stars more like a small 3-star, large spaces that are useless, everything is in English room and bathroom to be renovated, rust and mold, dirty and torn carpet cleaning not done, just the sheets pulled up, apart from a few exceptions it seems that the staff is unhappy, the tables are without tablecloths and they put out paper napkins and when you look at the staff's clothes in the dining room you almost feel pity because it is so ugly, at the restaurant we of course ate but it is repetitive and basic, no grilled fish, no seafood even though we are by the sea, evening entertainment almost non-existent and only for the English, many of whom are noisy and disrespectful in conclusion, really terrible for a hotel that claims 5 stars because for the price and the 15 euro tax per night I expect much better I would not recommend this hotel"
