Adams Hotel

"Just back from a fantastic short break at the Adams Hotel. It was a lovely time to visit as the weather was still good but the hotel and resort were much quieter than they would have been a few weeks earlier. We had room 417 and would recommend this to anyone, it is on the second floor, gets sun onto the balcony from mid morning until sunset and has one of the better views. We did use the restaurant on the first night and the food was excellent. Prices in the hotel were very competitive and probably cheaper than restaurants in the centre. The best thing about the hotel is probably the staff, they work very hard but are really friendly and welcoming. The pool is small but we never had an issue getting a sunbed irrespective on when we turned up (normally mid afternoon after being out for a bit). One thing to be aware of, the only place that takes card payment is the bar. You can charge drinks to your room but if you then need to settle at Reception, they only take cash! The tourist tax is also paid in cash. It’s around a mile into the centre but is a pleasant walk and the hill is a bit more than gentle but not too bad. We enjoyed walking down to the centre, the beach area is very pretty and plenty of places to eat and drink. I’d definitely recommend a trip on the little train up to the castle, it starts by the beach and costs €9 per person for a round trip that takes about 2 hours."

"Room was very nice but the location is quite hilly it’s right on a very busy road into the harbour and noisy outside room and around the pool area staff are very friendly bar stays open until 12 so don’t get a room near bar and restaurant it might have been near end of season but a few things on menu were not available"

"What a lovely hotel. We stayed for a week as a couple and loved it. The grounds are immaculately kept, the rooms and other facilities are spotless. Staff are wonderful and work hard. We had room 309, spacious with a large balcony and views of the hotel grounds. Bathroom was big and shower worked well, which is a luxury in terms of Greek bathrooms! Safe and aircon free to use. The location of the hotel is a 15/20 minute walk out of town depending if you take the shortcut or main road. Gentle incline back up to the hotel from town, but taxis readily available for 7 euros. Breakfast was great, it suited us. Hot cooked breakfast items and traditional Greek choices too. The pool is small but a relaxing area to sunbathe and chill out. Drinks and food from the bar were great. It suited us, I’d say if you plan to bring children they will be bored. Parga is a beautiful place with so much to offer, lots of great restaurants to choose from all of which were so reasonable in our experience. Special mentions to Perivoli & Yannis tavernas, near to the hotel and undoubtedly the best meals we had. Highly recommend taking a boat trip to Paxos and spending the day at Sarakiniko beach, catch a water taxi from the harbour."
