Skopelos Summer Homes

"Our second visit to summer homes and it was just as good as the first. The complex is so relaxing and pretty but near enough to skopolos harbour to walk to in the evening. The staff are superb in every way both charming and attentive. The apartments are spacious and very comfortable. If you want a carefree holiday this is for you."

"This was a great little find. It’s part of Skopelos Village hotel (this is the name you’ll need to find where the hotel is located, not Summer Homes). I stayed with my two children (teen and preteen) and it was great. We had a one bed which was spacious and right next to the pool. Always sun beds available and hardly anyone in the pool most of the time. You can also use the other two hotel pools if you want and get drinks etc from here. The accommodation is fairly basic but comfortable and you have most of what you need in the little kitchen. We liked being able to make breakfast and lunch in. The shower wasn’t great as you have to hold the shower head to use but that’s a minor point. Air con works well and generally the room stays fairly cool. Staff are really friendly, especially on reception. It’s a short walk into the town or port (€10 in a taxi from the ferry if you don’t want to walk with your luggage). Food in the restaurant was nice. I used the gym a couple of times, which was small but well equipped. There are lots of lovely restaurants to visit, our favourite was Olivio (which also did gf pasta). We did the Mamma Mia tour booked via the hotel with Dolphins. They also were the official transfers for the movie. The tour was great and would def recommend (it’s €40 pp)."
