"Overall, this is a fantastic location however, it is let down by some of the staff. The reception staff when we could locate them were very helpful. However, at breakfast I was appalled to see so many empty tables that were filthy with old food and plates stacked up on them. The same behind the coffee counter, I have never seen old food and plates stacked up behind the counter where the staff were serving coffee before. When the food finally arrived, I couldn’t eat it as the crockery smelt so terrible like foul wet dogs. Hygiene standards are so below average it was scary. Needs a full investigation."

"Beautiful hotel and a beautiful apartment, but the lighting was horrendous. We both hit our heads on the kitchen cabinet doors as we could barely see! Very hard for you to do your make up with a bright sconce on one side of the mirror and not the other (for both the bathroom and hallway mirror) and no overhead lighting."

"I want to write this in hopes the hotel makes some changes. I had an excellent stay in terms of service, staff were all incredible. The hotel cafe was excellent and the general layout / location is perfect. However…the cleanliness of the rooms really let the whole experience down. All the locks / hinges / finishes of the room were painted black / dark and when you do that you have to make sure to dust or else you can clearly see it. There were hairs in the bathroom, the black kitchen once again needs to be like deep cleaned or the colour changed so you can’t see the dirt as much. On a positive note the bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Super soft bouncy melt in mattress. Proper duvet and pillows."
