Hotel Airone

"Overall, Hotel Airone is a good property, with several positive aspects, but I believe it needs a renovation, especially regarding the rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are decent and the bed is very comfortable, which I do not consider a given at all. The presence of a coffee maker in the room is also definitely a much-appreciated plus. The most critical point, however, concerns the bathroom. At times, a smell coming from the drains was clearly noticeable, especially after flushing. Furthermore, a strong use of bleach was perceptible, probably in an attempt to counteract these odors. Some bathroom fixtures also need maintenance: for example, very little water came out of the bidet. For a four-star rated property, I would expect more attention in this regard and, more generally, renovated bathrooms. The breakfast seemed a bit poor to me compared to the hotel's category. Today, breakfast represents an important part of the stay experience, and I believe it could be easily improved in both the variety and quality of the offering. On the other hand, the pool service and the dining were very positive, which I found to be of excellent quality. The only note on the pool service: the lifeguard is certainly attentive and present, perhaps, however, a bit excessively focused on monitoring the guests. In summary, a property with good potential, valid staff and services, but one that would need a renovation project to be fully up to the declared four stars."

"I stayed 6 nights at the Hotel Airone in the month of August with my partner. I must say that we were overall satisfied, with some pros and one con. The pros are definitely the kindness and hospitality of the staff, starting from the receptionists and the waiters. The restaurant service, personally, I found excellent, so much so that we returned two consecutive evenings. The breakfast is also varied and we were pleasantly surprised by the possibility of eating on the terrace overlooking the pool. The pool and the hotel premises as a whole are beautiful and well-maintained. Too bad about the cleaning staff.. done in a superficial way.. in particular the shower was not cleaned well. Furthermore, on the second to last day, in the morning, my partner shaved and in the evening, when we returned to the room, we noticed that some stubble he had left in the sink had not been cleaned.. we chose the classic room.. maybe they reserve more attention for the superior rooms.. however, for the price-quality ratio I expected more regarding the cleaning service.. not suitable for a 4-star hotel. For the rest, top.."

"Genuinely friendly and helpful staff make you feel like a true guest at this hotel. Breakfast is included and is good quality and has lots of choice - great for fussy kids. Pool is huge and we never had an issue getting sunbeds. Hotel offers good vfm compared to other overpriced options in northern Sardinia. Some rooms maybe need updating but this doesn’t detract overall. Hotel food is very good, even at the pool bar. Short drive (20 mins) to all the best beaches and restaurants."
