Romano House

"Welcomed and directed to my room. The room was spacious enough for one. Everything, including my bathroom, was clean. Plenty of natural light, and a terrace around the corner from my room. It was a nice place to read and enjoy sun or shade. I had plenty of towels and toiletries to use. The breakfast that came with my room had lots of choices, including scrambled eggs and bacon. There were nice pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, tomatoes, breakfast cereal, nuts, granola, variety of breads to toast, Americano coffee, teas, juices, and made to order espressos and cappuccinos. They also had a bar that provided drinks, wines, beers, etc. I only needed something on the lighter side and ordered a house salad, that was huge and tasty! Service at the hotel was always friendly and helpful. I would recommend to stay here! Also, safe area to walk to restaurants, ATMs, and pharmacies."

"had a lovely time visiting with partner & family. Antonio at the bar was amazing, made us want to come back every evening for a few before bed as he was so attentive and made the best cocktails. We preferred coming to the hotel bar over elsewhere! You do just need to find the nicer places around the town! Explore and you’ll find them! Had a lovely time! Only real negative was upon leaving, our room bill was paid for by my partners parents literally 5 minutes before we checked out and the same person then also charged us as-well when we left so we double paid! Had we not checked with his parents that we paid the charge, we wouldn’t have known and left having paid twice! Not sure how the same person takes payments for the same room twice just 5 minutes apart, so check your bills!"

"Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Antonio the bartender was especially accommodating and made our group feel very welcome at the bar after our long, tiring (but wonderful) days. Really enjoyed the wine!"
