"Beautiful view, but unfortunately that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. Be very careful with your payments here. We were charged twice for both drinks and the tourist tax. After a lot of discussion, we were told that everything would be sorted out after check-out and that the money would be refunded. Unfortunately, that never happened. No refund, no proper solution, and we were simply left out of pocket. A beautiful view does not make up for being charged twice and then not receiving the promised refund. Very disappointing experience. Check your bills and payments carefully if you stay here!"

"Our experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had been in contact with them for more than four months before our stay and had made clear arrangements in writing. The hotel explicitly confirmed in writing that the airport transfer would cost €20 per person. Yet we were charged more than €10 extra per person on the way there and €15 extra on the way back. When questioned, the hotel claimed I had never confirmed our flight times. This was simply not true: I had provided them more than two months before arrival, and we have the correspondence to prove it. Payment also had to be made in cash, with no receipt offered. On our final evening, we were suddenly told we still had to pay the city tax. Despite four months of emails and quotations, we had never been informed about this additional cost. We never refused to pay; we simply pointed out that the hotel should have informed us beforehand, especially after the unexpected extra transfer costs. This is where things became truly unbelievable. Manager Carlo offered to have the hotel cover the city tax as a gesture of goodwill, partly to compensate us for the unexpected transfer costs. We accepted this as a reasonable solution and assumed the matter was settled. Apparently not. Only a few hours later, at around 3:00 AM, an employee confronted me with a document stating that we were deliberately refusing to pay the city tax. I was told to sign it, and that if I refused, the bus would not leave and we would not be taken to the airport. So the manager had just offered to cover the cost, only for us to be confronted hours later in the middle of the night with an accusation that we were deliberately refusing to pay, accompanied by a threat involving our airport transfer. This completely undermined his own promise and was an extremely intimidating way to treat guests just before an early flight. **If you're looking for a hotel with clean rooms, a wonderful rooftop view and staff who will happily charge you far more than agreed: look no further!** The attitude of some staff made things even worse: eye rolls, sighs, dismissive responses and visible irritation whenever we asked questions or challenged unexpected charges. We felt treated as an inconvenience rather than as paying guests. The following day, the hotel emailed us saying they only honour agreements that are put in writing. This is particularly ironic, since the €20 transfer price was explicitly confirmed in writing by the hotel, yet was not honoured. Apparently, written agreements only matter when convenient. In the end, our stay cost us more than €1,000 above what had originally been agreed. The rooms were clean and the rooftop view was wonderful, but unfortunately those positives were completely overshadowed by the unexpected charges, contradictory explanations, broken promises and extremely poor handling of the situation. We left feeling misled, overcharged and very poorly treated."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. This hotel is such a quiet, peaceful gem tucked away in the middle of a busy town — the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle and simply relax. The rooftop bar and jacuzzi were a particular highlight. There is something so lovely about spending a few hours up there, taking in the surroundings, enjoying a drink and completely unwinding. It really felt like our own little haven. But what made our stay truly special was the wonderful hotel manager. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his warm, friendly personality made such an impression on us. We especially loved the banter between him and my husband — the two of them had us laughing constantly! Those little moments are what make a stay memorable, and we’ll genuinely remember them for a long time. The hotel has such a lovely atmosphere, but it’s the people that give it its heart. We felt so welcomed, relaxed and looked after from the moment we arrived. We honestly couldn’t recommend this beautiful little gem highly enough. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, welcoming and a little bit special, this is the place. We loved our stay and would happily return in a heartbeat.
