"Our studio 14 was a bit outdated but everything was there for a good holiday. The breakfast is not extensive but everything is tasty and fresh. The location is super and quiet. The restaurants and shops within 300 meters. A real recommendation."

"We arrive at 8 o'clock in the morning. Should be at 11 o'clock in the little house that was a plus point But the little house was so dated The terrace didn't look like the only plus point was if you want to cook yourself, then that can Breakfast was really mediocre. Advise against booking it. The location is okay. Enough nice restaurants to go eat at. Staff very friendly! But I can't go back!"

"Stayed at Pedras da Rainha for 6 nights with my husband. We booked a studio apartment directly with Pedras da Rainha. The location is excellent very close to bars and restaurants. There is a supermarket on the complex and a Spar supermarket very close by. Its a very short walk to the wooden boardwalk with lovely views of the water. All the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. There is a swimming pool and tennis courts on site. We booked bed and breakfast for our stay. Breakfast was served in the dining room and we had the option to sit outside. Breakfast was good and staff were constantly replenishing. The negatives. Our studio apartment was on the first floor. I do have arthritis and sometimes find it difficult to climb stairs. The steps leading up to the apartment were very steep which I hadn't expected. Once inside the apartment we were very disappointed. It was very dark. It appears that a false ceiling had been added in order to make a bedroom on the first floor. There were wooden steps leading to the bedroom which were closed off at the top by a large piece of wood. The bathroom was small with a very small shower and for some reason there was a washing machine in the bathroom. We found some personal items in a cupboard ie books videos and Christmas decorations. We travelled with 2 other couples who had booked their accommodation through Hotels.com and Loveholidays.ie we all paid around the same price but their apartments were far superior to ours. They both have bright airy apartments with very modern bathrooms. I did ask at reception if we could move to a ground floor apartment due to the very steep steps. I was told there wasn't anything else available and I should have requested a ground floor apartment when I booked. That is true but I wasn't aware how steep the steps would be. I also complained about how dated our apartment was compared to the apartments of the 2 other couples in our party. I asked why their apartments were superior to mine when we had all paid the same amount. The receptionist couldn't answer me. I was told to try the following day because a ground floor apartment might become available. The following day I was lucky that they were able to move me and my husband to a ground floor apartment. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but it was interesting to find that not all apartments are of the same standard even though the couples in our party all paid a similar price."
