Holiday Inn Express Ljubljana

"We had a great stay! The hotel was only about a 10-minute Uber ride to the city center, which was perfect since we didn’t want to bother driving our own car around. We also appreciated the free onsite parking. The staff was friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Our room was cute and modern, with two double beds and a small table and chair that worked out great for me to get some remote work done during part of our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and the water pressure was great. Just keep in mind that there’s no fridge or microwave in the room, although a kettle is provided. The bathroom vanity has a large sink but not much counter space for toiletries, so we ended up using my hanging toiletry organizer. The breakfast area was a highlight, with a great selection of food, pastries, and juices. The staff there was also very attentive and kept everything running smoothly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel convenient, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a nice place to stay with easy access to the city center!"

"While not central, we chose this hotel as we were travelling by car and needed parking. It is a very good 3 star hotel. Overall, the hotel looks nice, the rooms are modern and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is very generous with plenty of space. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was quite good and the breakfast was rich and varied. There is a frequent bus connection to the city centre, with a bus stop located very close to the hotel. The bus ticket to the city centre is cheap (€1.50) and can easily be paid by credit card on board. However, we walked to and from the city centre instead, which takes about 30 minutes and feels completely safe."
