"So, I’ve been home a few days and between the kids being back at school and me being back to work I finally feel human enough to post about our first family holiday 2026! ☀️💛
We absolutely loved the hotel and honestly I couldn’t say one bad thing about the room, it was clean, spaceious and we had a lovely view overlooking the pool area! 🏊♀️
The buffet/all inclusive was as to expected, there was a choice of foods - my only complaint (and this is so minimal) there was only 1 out of 10 times the chips were actually hot, other than that even my fussy eater (3YO) found something. (Even if it was plain rice, but that’s definitely a her problem rather than a hotel problem)
The pool area was lovely, there was plenty of seating area and when we did choose to have the loungers we didn’t struggle, it was probably more the location than actually obtaining a lounger as both of my children only wanted to be in the little pool so we wanted something near by, but it was only 2 days out of the 7 that we wanted this and didn’t have an issue, the other times we opted for bar area and just went into the big pool with my youngest.
The actual pool - my biggest complaint with the pool was the steps that dropped you down into the different depths, there’s no marking on these and the amount of times (not only us) fell up or down them was ridiculous. I am not a confident swimmer I’ll be honest, as soon as my feet can’t touch the bottom I go into panic mode, due to this I stayed tightly clung to my partner or assisted my 3 YO, there was an incident where my partner couldn’t see the step, tripped back whilst I was on his back and he was holding our daughter, he’s then gone under in the deepest part of the pool, it turned into all arms and legs whilst we attempted to keep my daughters head above the water 🤣🫣
The entertainment; the entertainers were really enthusiastic within there roles, although a lot of the activities that were on the board were missed for whatever reasons so I cannot really comment; (missed because they didn’t actually take place)
The evening entertainment; we didn’t go to the evening entertainment every night but on the 4 days we did, the kids loved just running round and making friends, one of the days the entertainer was actually on and he did a mini disco and a quiz (yes I was absolutely the parent who got roped into doing it) the other days it was just music being played from a speaker, and one night it was a singer. Myself and my partner just took a deck of cards. No issues
The drinks - I’ll be honest, I had 1 alcoholic drink the entire holiday. So I really cannot comment. My only whinge with this was…Other than water, fruit juice, or fizzy they didn’t do cordial, my children aren’t allowed fizzy (nor would they drink it if offered and my fussy bab didn’t like fruit juice) it wasn’t that much of in issue though, we popped to the shop and bought a bottle of cordial for her.
My girls met some really lovely children and made some lovely friendships (so if you do see this post I just want to thank you for making my girls holiday so special) a family sat with my girls and played (and taught them UNO) another lovely family bought my eldest a friendship bracelet on the day they left 🥹❤️
We really did meet some lovely families, couples and people and you really did make our holiday what it was (I’m just sorry I didn’t get anyone’s names!)
Overall; we had an absolutely amazing family holiday. I would definitely recommend the hotel, and we would definitely revisit again! So please, if you’re like me and absolutely freak when reading the reviews, go with an open mind because I really was pleasantly surprised! All I can honestly say is; if you want 5*, book a 5*. But for what we paid, we got a lot more than what we expected ❤️"
