"Overall I would recommend the hotel. We arrived late at night and Ignacio checked us in - what an absolute gentleman! The bungalows are great, filled with everything you need and they have really thought about everything. The cleaners are brilliant also! There are some ants but it’s to be expected and never caused any issues for us personally. The breakfast is 10euros and you can have as much as you like, it’s sooooo nice! The pool is genuinely the nicest pool we’ve been to and yes the lifeguard doesn’t allow balls or floats but it wasn’t a big deal and it made for a really peaceful time. He leaves at 6 and people bring stuff in then lol. There are pool tables, air hockey, foosball table, table tennis, vending machine on site. There is also a minimart on site which is fantastic! Closes at 7pm. The free shuttle bus was absolutely brilliant and very useful! Location wise- it is a bit out but it never caused us any issues. Taxis 5euro if even. We were able to get around very easy! You just tell the reception you want a taxi and no joke, the taxi is there 2minutes later! So efficient and easy and very friendly! I loved this place so much that on the morning of day 2 I booked to come back again next year with my parents as well. Bingo was great fun. There are also pool games some days and singers some nights but we never seen these. Holidayworld is a short distance away and play del ingles in taxi.
Now for the only negative we had. I would have to mention the bar staff. I found them to be so SO rude and it’s a good job I don’t drink alcohol because I didn’t really want to go back to it. The first night was ok but the second day onwards was horrible. My son loved the melon daiquiris (non alcoholic). We had been out all day, had such a lovely day so we got showered and dressed and decided to finish the night off. We wanted to go play some games of pool and grab a wee daiquiri. The pool table is right in front of the bar by the way. My son had set the game up as I ordered at the bar - bear in mind we were the only 2 at the bar area at this time as well and still well within closing time. So I order and he goes to make it, I know it takes a while so I said can I pay for this and I’ll come back to get them when ready please? The guy starts getting annoyed and we couldn’t understand each other and he was annoyed at me because I couldn’t understand him - I’m fully aware I am in another country and I don’t know the language and that’s my problem but I don’t expect someone to be so angry at me for absolutely nothing? This guy was just so obviously angry that he had to do something that somehow I got the brunt of it. So strange. Then he went and got another guy and he came over asking what I want as if it was a bother. I was very taken aback. I told him I wanted the 2 daiquiris and he was not happy either. I asked him could I pay now and I’ll come get them when they are ready, he was not happy with me either for some reason? Started telling me that he will not be bringing them to my table etc. I would like to make it VERY clear, they were NEVER asked to bring it to my table. I quite clearly had said that I would come back to get them and again bare in mind that I’m 2 steps away from the bar itself and that we were the only people there and it also was well before closing time . What I think their issue is that they do not want to make drinks that require crushed ice or that take a bit longer. If this is how they are going to act towards paying customers, maybe you should think about removing these things off the menu because their attitudes and how they are to people is unacceptable and it really lives a bad impression overall."
