"For many years, we have been returning to the Hipotels Hipocampo Palace & Spa in Cala Millor. It has long been more than just a vacation spot for us – a place of beautiful memories and people who have grown dear to our hearts over the years.
Since the extensive renovation, the entire hotel shines in new splendor. Everything seems brighter, more modern, and more elegant, without losing its familiar comfort. The suite we are staying in is very beautiful and tastefully designed. The newly designed wellness area with sauna and swimming area is also exceptionally well done and offers a pleasant atmosphere for relaxing. The sea is also just a few minutes' walk away.
The beautiful pool area is nestled in a spacious, lovingly maintained garden, whose lush and diverse flora delights us time and again. It is wonderful to relax here. The spacious park behind the hotel entrance also enchants with its special charm. A heartfelt thank you goes to the gardeners, who contribute significantly to the beauty of the entire grounds with their careful work.
What touches us every time we return is the warmth of the familiar people who give this house its very own character.
Our special appreciation goes to the director, Ms. Maria Del Pilar C., and her deputy, Ms. Susan T. We find both of them to be extremely competent, attentive, and dedicated. Despite their diverse tasks, they always find time for the guests and meet them with sincere warmth and empathy.
We would also like to thank the reception team just as warmly. With great patience, friendliness, and helpfulness, they take time for the guests' concerns, listen attentively, and find a solution even in difficult situations. This personal attention conveys the feeling of truly being welcome.
Miguel, the bellhop, is for us one of the good souls of the house. His warmhearted and respectful manner, his honest interest in people, and his ability to listen attentively make him a person who has become especially dear to us over the years.
The lovely service team also contributes a great deal to us feeling comfortable here. The excellent cuisine deserves special praise. The charming head chef and his friendly, dedicated team spoil the guests with delicious dishes. The arrangement of the buffets in the dining room is also very well done. Here, the head chef always keeps an overview and is immediately on hand if something does not work for once.
Despite all our joy over the successful renovation, we only have two small wishes: Sun umbrellas that are easier to open, and a bit more of that creative variety in the dishes that we remember so fondly from earlier years. Especially in view of the increased price level, such details gain in importance.
For the future, we hope that the long-standing experience and keen intuition of the management and their team will also be incorporated into important decisions at a higher level. They know the guests, their wishes, and all those special features that define the character of this establishment. Economic success and genuine hospitality do not have to be a contradiction—on the contrary, they can complement each other in a wonderful way.
We sincerely wish for the hotel that, despite all its new beauty, it retains that generosity, individuality, and human warmth that we have appreciated in it for so many years."
