"We had a lovely relaxing break. The location is stunning. Staff are attentive and polite. Breakfast was very good. Evening meals were not as good, although we always managed to muster together a plate of food. As many have stated, the rooms do have an issue with noise and although our stay was fine, the last night we had unbearable shouting from the occupants of the room next door, some people simply don't know when they've drank too much and no need to shout at their partners at 2am! Thank you for your help during the whole of our wonderful stay."

"San Tomas is a quiet resort with superb beach, sea and coastal walks. We hired a car as went last year and we like to explore the island There is bus service to Mahon and Cituadella and taxis also available. This year we had a pool view room and asked for this to be on higher floor, which it was. This was better than the bungalow last year. Reception gave us our key to room before 230, there were 2 bottles of water and tea/coffee making facilities which got restocked. Maid service excellent, restaurant plenty of varied food for different nationalities, but not much on the freshly cooked chef area was spanish. Pool great and cleaned early morning and sun beds area hosed down the night before. Entertainment animacon Johnny works hard and had various games in the morning to join in, and in evenings bingo and then various talented singers/dancers He likes to help people join in activities whatever their ability and his English was very good. Bar staff polite and helpful. We stayed all inclusive which meant all local spirits included but not premium ones, and only a few cocktails. We ate at the pool bar some days, the menu has some all inclusive food on this but more you have to pay for A token is given on arrival to exchange for cold drinks at pool bar as incentive to take plastic cups back and get your token back before 6 when it closes. If your not all inclusive there is an option to buy drinks packages. This hotel suits us very well as a quiet resort and chill out area The only negative was the second lift was out of order which meant you quite often had to wait a while as the lift only takes 3 people."

"Well located on the beachfront and close to everything. Friendly staff who made an effort to understand our requests. Nevertheless, we are disappointed with this hotel for several reasons. Due to a lack of funds, we had booked a room without a sea view but we were near the delivery entrance and the garbage trucks which make a lot of noise very early in the morning. Furthermore, the cleaning staff start their day around 7:30 AM, also a lot of noise. The poor quality mattresses make you feel their springs when, like me, you are a little heavy."
