Hotel Bellevue Wien

"Accomodation during the second half of April 2026 was very good overall, with one exception. Positive: Very good location, accessible public transport. Clean rooms with basic furniture, and just a few TV channels to chose from. Noise level acceptable, it could be improved. Nice breakfast. Negative: The hotel did not mention anytime during check-in or check-out about the impossibility to issue an invoice, and even after two weeks from our departure they have been enable to issue one."

"The hotel is below expectations for the price we have paid. The junior suite did not match the photos, but matched a «superior double». The floor of the room was squeaky. The variety of food for breakfast was excellent, but with 2 out of 4 coffee brewers out of order, the warm dishes was cold before we could get to the 20 min line at the brewers. This also lead to waiting time for a free table for breakfast since the breakfast for everyone was prolonged because of the coffee-line. The coffee-machine is the room was broken, and firstly replaced on the last evening of the 4 nights stay. We have complained to the hotel and Hotels.com. Hotels.com has not answered for 2 weeks now. Stay off this hotel."

"We stayed here for two nights during our journey through Austria and Germany the first thing i would say is it is a little out of the way for the sights in my opinion and could do with an upgrade in some areas. There is a tram stop a two minute walk away and a good super market directly across the road. We found a good Irish bar about a 10 minute walk away which did good food and was very pleasant and prices were good too. When we checked in we were given room 503 and what we found straight away was the room door opened out which took a bit of getting use too but on entering the room we found it to be a good size with plenty of space for clothes etc and there was also a fridge in the room and hair drier. The Wifi was again good and free but the room itself was a little dated but again the bed was comfy. There was only one lift that we could find so it could at times be quite a wait or you could take the stairs which i have to say were very grand which fell in line with the age of the building. We again paid for breakfast and i have to say on our first morning it left a lot to be desired there was not much food left and it was not getting replaced quick enough in fact staff kept going to look at the empty trays and you would think they would bring more out but they did not. We came down for breakfast at 8.30am which was not late and really struggled to find something to eat especially as breakfast was from 7.00am till 11.00am we found this very concerning. The following day it was better and there was more choice but it does not excuse the fact you have paid for breakfast and there is not enough food to go around and you leave still hungry. The cost of drinks in the bar we felt were very expensive and the staff were not as friendly as other staff in other hotels in Austria we have met. They did a good job keeping the hotel clean especially with all the carpets in the hotel but i do not think i would stay here again or recommend i just did not get the welcoming feeling from the hotel and i thought it was a little out of the way."
