Radisson Blu Style Hotel Vienna

"It takes a lot for me to sit down and write a review. To say our three night stay at this hotel was disappointing would be a huge understatement. I emailed in advance of our arrival to confirm a few details and did not receive a reply. I mentioned this at check-in and it was shrugged off. Front desk staff were brusque throughout our stay. There is a reason the lights in the common area are kept low and it's not for ambience. Common areas smelled moldy and appeared unclean. In our room, one duvet was yellow and stained; bath towels were stained and the carpeting was dirty. We stayed at Radisson throughout our European holiday and this one in Vienna was below standard. We witnessed front desk staff speaking rudely to guests. What a disappointment for our time in such a beautiful city!"

"The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is very good, there is no great variety but everything is of excellent quality. The reason i don't rate my experience as excellent is that the room i was given, on the top floor (6th floor) was much different than the photos. The ceiling was low and the walls were rounded, so the total available space was noticeable less than the space as shown in the photos. I wouldn't mind if i was informed about this from before i made the booking or if i was offered a discount. It was sn unpleasant suprise."

"We were there for NYE. The hotel is in an excellent location. Perfect for the NYE celebrations all over the city center. Extremely safe location and central to everything. The room and bed were nice and sleep well. My only complaint is the room was extremely hot, I was on the top floor so perhaps that contributed. It was the end of December and we had to keep the window open just to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. And the noise from the elevator machinery was loud and again that could be because we were on the top floor near the elevator and overhead machinery. But it wasn't being used all night long so no issues later in the sleep. "
