"Stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t find fault with anything. Friendly staff throughout. Clean and well maintained rooms and communal areas. We stayed in a V level room which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the Momenti was a lovely start to the day, less choice of food than in the main buffet area, but seemed more tranquil and relaxed. Plenty of space, towels and loungers on the pebble beach or by the pool at the time we visited. Gym and spa areas were small but not crowded. Bus service to town from the bus stop seems to run every 15 minutes from just in front of the hotel, but could get very crowded on the return journey. We would happily stay here again if returning to Dubrovnik."

"We had a three night stay in this wonderfully located hotel, all rooms have a sea view. Having mastered the somewhat confusing layout of the hotel we were able to make full use of the facilities. Buffet breakfast was one of the best that I’ve seen in a hotel with plenty of choices. We went to the La Mar restaurant a couple of times and both the food and service were exceptional. There is a very good indoor pool which was nice and quiet for an early morning swim and plenty of sunbathing space both on the beach and the outdoor pool. The rooms are spacious and with everything needed for a holiday stay, very powerful shower. My only small criticism would be I wish they sold ice creams by the outdoor pool. The small were all without exception pleasant and always helpful"

"Breathtaking location and wonderful staff, but completely let down by the food. This is a beautiful hotel in an incredible location, made even better by an absolutely wonderful front-of-house team who honestly took our breath away, they are fantastic. In particular, the diving center staff were incredible and truly made our stay special. However, having just returned home, there were a couple of major issues that would unfortunately prevent us from returning - primarily the food. To be completely honest, the kitchen staff simply do not know how to cook to a 5-star standard, and this urgently needs to be addressed by management. The food was terrible, poorly cooked, and lacked any thought. Meat dishes were consistently tough and badly seasoned. The buffet lacked basic balance; while there were meat and fish main courses, there was a severe lack of fresh salads, vegetables, and potato sides. Breakfast was equally bad, featuring thick, tough chunks of bacon served on soggy bread, corn flakes on yoghurt and long ques for an omelette. Furthermore, the replenishment was far too slow, when dining around 7:30 PM, many dishes were completely empty and left unrefilled. It was so disappointing that we gave up and ate out for our final two nights. The kitchen is churning out food at high speed with very little care, and they desperately need a qualified chef to step in and retrain the staff. Housekeeping & Room Service: The standard of room care also fell well short of luxury expectations. Our bed was poorly made daily, sheets weren't tucked in, and pillows and runners were just left off the beds (photo attached). Used glasses or mugs were either not washed at all or very poorly and simply left sitting on the bathroom counter. It is such a shame, as the setting and the staff are spectacular. But at a 5-star price point, the hotel cannot afford to have a kitchen team that lacks basic cooking skills."
