About five minutes’ drive from the centre of Omis, on a quiet section of the Adriatic coast, Hotel Plaza Duce packs in everything you need for a sunshine getaway.
The beach is never more than a few steps away here. Just across the road you’ll find a petite patch of sand, where the hotel has handily snagged a spot for a beachfront bar, so no long treks necessary when you fancy a drink. Stretch out on the shore and soak up the sun or rent yourself a stand-up paddle board and make your way out into the crystal-clear waters – the choice is yours.
Back at base you’ll find a pair of pools – one outdoors on the sea-view terrace that comes with a good supply of sun loungers and a handy poolside bar, and a heated pool inside at the spa. Speaking of which, the spa also lines up a sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, as well as a menu of massage treatments.
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant, where you can expect generous spreads of international eats. There’s an à la carte spot (payable locally) that specialises in Mediterranean cuisine, too.
