"We recently stayed at Amadria Park Camping Trogir through Eurocamp and came away with mixed feelings. The biggest positive is undoubtedly the site itself. The location is beautiful, with an idyllic seaside setting, lovely gardens, stunning views across the water, good bars and restaurants, and a convenient water taxi service. The location nearby Trogir is a massive draw & a reason we’d consider coming back. Walking around the resort, there are many areas that feel peaceful and picturesque, and it is easy to see why people return. We would certainly consider visiting again, but only if booking directly with the resort and staying in one of their luxury lodges. Unfortunately, our experience with the Eurocamp accommodation was disappointing. The lodge felt extremely basic and was in what appeared to be the worst location on the entire site. It was positioned directly beside the bin storage area, offering virtually no privacy & with lots of noise from deliveries and daily bin collections!! The deck or outdoor design looked tired, with flaking paintwork, broken gates and the accommodation was sparsely equipped compared with other holiday lodges we have stayed in. The layout of the Eurocamp area felt very crowded, with units packed closely together and overlooking one another. Some of lodges looked abandoned! It reminded us more of a well known British holiday camp environment than a premium european camping resort. Noise was also an issue, and it was difficult to enjoy any sense of peace or seclusion. The pool area was another disappointment. It became extremely overcrowded, with a limited number of sunbeds available. To make matters worse, there is a significant extra charge if you want to use the aqua park or secure sunbeds by the beach. (for multiple children this was a significant added cost) Given the prices already paid for the holiday, it was frustrating that comfortable places to relax around the main pool were so limited. Overall, Amadria Park Camping Trogir is a lovely resort in a beautiful setting, but we would strongly advise against booking through Eurocamp. The standard and location of the accommodation fell below expectations. If we were to return, we would book directly with the resort and choose one of their own higher-quality lodges instead."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Amadria Park with Eurocamp. Beautiful grounds, lovely staff and the perfect location. It’s around a 15–20 minute drive from the airport and really easy to get to — we hired a car and had no issues finding it. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We drove to our accommodation and were met by someone from Eurocamp who gave us a quick tour and explained everything we needed to know. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and had plenty of storage. Everything smelled fresh and the bathroom was spotless, which is a big thing for me in self-catering accommodation. The only downside was the fridge didn’t seem very cold — not a huge issue for us as we mainly used it for drinks, but worth mentioning. The decking area was lovely, although our accommodation stayed mostly in the shade so we didn’t really get to make the most of the sun loungers. We were also located near the supermarket at the back of the park, meaning it was a downhill walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Fine for us, but the walk back up in the heat could be difficult if you have mobility issues or young children, so it’s worth looking at accommodation locations when booking. The supermarket onsite was immaculate and really well stocked with fresh bread, pastries and essentials. Prices were actually better than expected too. There’s apparently a Lidl nearby for cheaper options and bigger shops if needed. The restaurant we visited was gorgeous. We came just before the season fully started, so only one restaurant and one bar were open during our stay. That’s probably worth noting if you’re visiting in early season. The whole park was incredibly clean and well maintained though. Special mention to Ivan in the restaurant — such a lovely guy. He sorted the football match out for us in the sports bar, even though it was closed, and also gave us loads of helpful tips for the next part of our holiday travelling down to Dubrovnik. One thing I would say is there could be more toilet facilities closer to the beach as it’s a bit of a walk back to the nearest toilets. The beach beds are quite expensive — the larger beds were €35 per day, and the inflatables are also charged separately by the hour, half day or full day. If you’re travelling with kids, these extra costs can add up quickly. We were lucky as we visited just before peak season and had one day where they were free. The beach itself is lovely, but water shoes are definitely needed because of the stones. Buy them before you travel if you can — they were around €18 in the supermarket onsite. Parking is also €10 per day, so just something to factor into your budget. Overall though, we would 100% come back. Next time we’d probably book one of the sea-view accommodations as they looked amazing, although I think those are booked directly through Amadria rather than Eurocamp."

"First time to Croatia but not the first time to a Eurocamp. I can’t fault this camping site at all, it’s peaceful and easy to get to and from Trogir / Split via Uber and bus. While we were here we took an Uber from the camp to Trogir bus terminal which took around 10 mins and about €5 on average. From there to go to Split, it’s a number 37 bus which comes every 20/30 minutes, and is €2 one way if bought on the Promet app or at the terminal. One thing is though, it’s a 50/60 minute journey to Spljt, this bus can get extremely busy so plan wisely! The camp itself is on a hill so there are steps to and from the beach, pool and restaurant, but I assume alternative routes for anyone with accessibility issues. The pool is small but still good enough for a dip to cool down, we went before schools broke up for the summer so it was a little bit quieter compared to what it could have been. The only negative is that the camp supermarket (nearer to our accommodation at least) closed at 3pm, which isn’t a massive issue as there are supermarkets about a 10 minute Uber away from the camp, but can be inconvenient if you need an ingredient or two. There is however a small market more nearer the residential areas close to the camp which is around a 15 minute walk. Overall, it’s a lovely camp with even better staff. I’d recommend it for a quiet getaway before the school holidays."
