Hotel Trogir Palace

"The hotel was clean (except for a visibly dirty rug next to my bed). We rolled it up and put it in the closet! The plane noise was horrendous until midnight, and then it starts again by 6:30 am. Every time I fell asleep another plane would come in for a landing right over the hotel. The room had no tissues and no bottled water. The breakfast was sparse. The dinner we had there was not good. The rooms have not been decorated since 1960! I cannot recommend."

"We spent 1 night here in a king room on the first floor at the back of the hotel. The room & hotel were very clean. The beds were 2 singles that were pushed together. Our room had a fridge, desk with a chair and night stands. There weren't any tissues provided. It was chilly the night we stayed so we used the comforters that we found in a drawer. The buffet breakfast was very nice. The staff was constantly checking the food & replaced items when needed. Great location - we only had to walk a short distance by the water and cross the bridge to the Old Town. It was a wonderful small town with places to eat or have a drink in the main plaza and there were narrow passageways to explore with shops, etc."

"Stayed here for one night. It's right across the bridge from old town trogir. Good in terms of location as old town is just a walk across the bridge. Room is small without much move around space but has a tiny foyer, clean with polished wood floors, bathtub with shower. Light in bathroom doesn't work well and the toilet seat is loose. Fridge but no tea kettle. There is a safe but is locked since only staying the night no need to bother having it opened. Beds - two twins out together for a double, soft to sit on but not too bad when lying down. There is a cute small balcony with chairs and table, it's one of the better balconies on this trip with some view of rooftops. Our room is not water facing - 09 tier facing the back parking lot, looking at other buildings and rooftops with a narrow side view of the water. Had buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant - a bit basic feeling but delicious salad with fish pieces, broccoli soup - kind of thin but quite tasty. Dessert was small pieces of layered opera cake. Overall adequate for a small hotel but don't expect anything fancy. 3.5 stars"
