Anais Bay Hotel

"We have stayed in this hotel before but the standards this year have dropped. the hotel has some positives ie location and friendly staff, but all in all it is deteriorating. The Bar Staff, Constantinos and Dipin go above and beyond, you never have to wait and they remember your preference. Cleaning needs attention, last year the cleaning was immaculate, this year the cleaner was not in the room for more than 3 minutes the only day it was cleaned was when she was off and a young girl cleaned she did clean thoroughly. The daily cleaner danced with a brush not brushing anywhere and flicked a mop round that was the sum total. The beds are so hard. They no longer give a welcome pack of tea and coffee. This year they have changed to quilts and quilt covers our covers were not changed at all. Towels being changed every three days isn't acceptable especially as you have to dry them on the balcony, we endured high winds and rain resulting in wet towels. Some staff are nice to your face but rude and aggressive behind your back. Ive seen reviews who say breakfast is good, no it isnt if you wish to eat healthily. The offerings are melon if your there early ( it did not get replenished) cornflakes and 2 other cereals. No croissants this year, if your there early there are panne au raisin but again not replenished. The new coffee machines are not adequate, slow and not filled with milk and water frequently so you have to wait. On one occasion we were there at 9 o clock there were no beans so we asked for some we were told abruptly no the beans are finished. The member of staff then proceeded to take the coffee machine trays away. So Breakfast finished at 9 that day instead of 10 with no communication. On the positive Costa the night watchman is very friendly with everyone. We wont be returning to this hotel again."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks in May 2026, we had a lovely holiday, great hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely staff. Nice pool area, never had a problem getting a sunbed. Close to shops bars and restaurants. Great friendly staff, we will be back"

"We stayed at Anais Bay Hotel last month and overall had a lovely, relaxing holiday. Positives: * Great location, very close to the beach in a quiet area. * A pleasant 30-minute walk into the main Protaras strip. * Lovely views from the balcony. * Breakfast offered a good selection with plenty of choice. * Staff were generally pleasant and helpful. Negatives: * The hotel décor is quite dated and could do with refurbishment. * The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. * Towels were rough and in need of replacement. * Basic amenities were missing, such as teaspoons for tea and coffee. * Water glasses in the room were not cleaned daily. * Soundproofing was poor; we could hear conversations, furniture being moved, and other noise from neighbouring rooms and upstairs, resulting in very little privacy. * It was noticeable that regular returning guests seemed to receive preferential treatment. While we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing break, we would not choose to return. For dining, we highly recommend Fresh House and Nissiotis for both food and service. Directly opposite Anais Bay are some fantastic apartments where non-residents are welcome to use the bar and restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are wonderful, and we found ourselves visiting there frequently during our stay. We also highly recommend the mountain excursions, particularly the village tours and halloumi-making experiences, which were a real highlight of the trip."
