"We booked a last minute holiday to here after reading the fantastic reviews. I really can’t believe where all the good reviews are coming from. Yes the staff are all fantastic and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean but that’s it. I would say at the best it is a 3 star hotel. No cushions on the incredibly uncomfortable sun loungers. Premium spirts not available when asked for. The keo, is not the same keo I’ve been drinking in Cyprus for years. The coke on some days transparent as the syrups was not replaced. We only ate twice in the hotel as the food wasn’t good, with flys walking on the food in the main restaurant, mains had a sweet taste, the meat’s extremely tough, stale bread. Snack bar hot food was always cold. In the main restaurant there are to many staff walking around in between tables, it made it feel like a school canteen where you are continually been watched. There is no where to sit outside in the shade unless you wait to late afternoon where the building gives shade. The entertainment area is in the lobby, over crowded as too small an area to have this classed as the entertainment area. For what we paid it was a bargain price, but don’t go expecting it to be 4 star. Far better hotels in protaras that are actually 4 star."
