"I just wanted to share what a fantastic experience I had during my recent stay! As someone who was traveling alone with my two young children, ages 5 and 10, it was my very first solo trip with them, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and soak up some sun. (My husband and eldest decided to sit this one out and relax at home!) The location suited me perfectly – tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful retreat from the usual hustle and bustle, which made it easy to truly relax. The pool area was always spotless and well managed, and the room was consistently fresh and tidy thanks to the attentive cleaning staff. I was on a half-board plan, but couldn't resist sampling a few snacks from the bar, and everything I tried was delicious. The staff were extremely welcoming and always willing to help, which made me feel safe and well cared for throughout our stay. Having a reasonably priced shop right on site was a huge plus, letting us enjoy lazy days by the pool without needing to venture out unless the mood struck. Plus, the buses were conveniently located just outside the hotel, making it easy to explore whenever we wanted. Honestly, I can't think of a single negative thing to say about our experience. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I've already booked another stay for 2027, this time planning to return with my mum and the little ones. I can't wait to come back and make more wonderful memories!"

"We have just come back from our stay at the Theo Sunset Bay hotel. This was our first stay. We were told previously that construction work was ongoing and asked if we wanted to move, we declined as we were only here for 4 nights. I will start with the bad, and there is only one issue really! When we arrived we were allocated a room that we have now realised was previously occupied by the construction workers (they are staying onsite) unfortunately many of these workers chain smoke. When entering our room (811) we were met with an overwhelming smell of cigarettes smell. As we were tired we thought maybe we were just being a bit dramatic so we got in our PJs and settled in for the night. Unfortunately the smell and fumes were so overwhelming we could not sleep. My eyes were watering, my nose was burning, my pjs and hair stank like I had been smoking myself! I went to reception and requested a room swap, they said they were full. In the morning as I went to reception again I spotted in another room a group of 4 construction workers smoking IN THE ROOM! All sat having their morning coffee in the room and smoking!! It made sense now, this is why our room smelt so bad. It wasn’t just a one off, the smoke smell was actually in the furniture etc. Credit to the hotel, they changed our room by 11am to a lovely clean room which did not smell. As for the rest of our stay the only way was up. It was wonderful. The staff make this place. Every single staff member was so friendly and could not do enough for you which tbh we found this where ever we went in Cyprus! Genuinely lovely people. The hotel itself really surprised me! Even with construction work ongoing this is not a 3:5 star hotel. This is easily a 4-4.5 star. The pool areas are amazing. So clean, very comfortable sun loungers (not cheap nasty blue ones) and every sunbed had a parasol. No sunbed wars however I don’t think the hotel was running at full capacity at all. Beautiful views from the pools and restaurants, the sunsets are unreal. The food is the best I’ve had in a hotel. Not a huge choice BUT good quality, very tasty and I would take quality over quantity any day… I think this is where a lot of hotels go wrong! This hotel has smashed it in that department. The white table cloths for the evening meal were a lovely touch too. The restaurant was very clean also. Lots of places to sit and chill in the evening, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk (shingle beach and rip tides so be careful) The onsite shop is very good and decent prices (other than sun lotion so make sure you bring your own) Not much in the area but there is a bus (615) that goes into coral bay for €2. Overall apart from the first nights hiccup we had a wonderful stay and I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone!"
