"this is the worst hotel i’ve ever been to!! i strongly recommend never coming here, the staff are so incredibly rude more specifically the men, they don’t talk just grunt and make you feel so intimidated and uncomfortable to ask for anything, i went with my family and we didn’t feel we got our moneys worth coz we just wanted to avoid the bar as a whole. the only staff member who made it a slightly better experience was sunina who was very lovely and checked on you often. the food was alright but the buffet is absolutely tiny, so if you have any picky eaters or dietary requirements you will struggle a lot, we had to go out for food quite often and none of the staff have any idea what allergens are in the food. the rooms weren’t too bad however our room quickly became infested with bugs there a little small but fine for a short stay. the sunbeds were also a big problem as there was a policy saying no one was allowed to reserve any and it was first come first serve however we were waking up at 6:30 am to all the beds gone every morning only to find out that people were reserving them in the night! when we figured this out we managed to reserve our own sunbeds that were incredibly uncomfortable and many were broken, the two pools that are advertised in facilities is the pool you see in the pictures and a tiny kid pool. when you checkout at 11 you loose your room and they have no luggage room and a public shower with no lock and is water logged and dirty. due to that we had to pay to keep our room for the day and the cost was €70! when you checkout at 11oclock your all inclusive also ends and even if you purchase your room for the day you still have to pay on top of that money €10 per person to continue it even if you didn’t get there till 12am on your first night and werent able to use any of the hotel’s facilities that whole day, even after a lot of us complaining about this as the same thing happened to many families they refused reason and wouldn’t listen to anybody’s complaints, so we had to spend an extra €100 on our last day and we had no idea of this untill we got there ,i’ve never been to an all inclusive where they cut you off on your last day and demand more money? if you want a very quiet holiday this would be good as your essentially in the middle of no where, jet 2 offer no excursions so unless you have the money to hire a car it’s more of a stay in the hotel the whole time kind of holiday, many people were complaining about the kids screaming around the pool but there isn’t anything else there to keep them entertained, the whole time we were there we only had entertainment on two of the nights so the atmosphere wasn’t great. i will say tho the general maintence of the rooms everyday and the gardeners were great, very hard workers, another thing i noticed is it seems all the staff live in the hotel underground in tiny rooms together with no windows, wich might explain why they were all miserable. cyprus as a whole is big stray cat area and there were a few lovely cats in the hotel however there were signs everywhere saying not to feed them as they do it themselves but the whole week i didn’t see them get fed once nor did i see any water bowls for them, on one occasion i actually saw one drinking the pool water which is very upsetting to see the mistreatment of innocent animals"

"I recently returned from an excellent 14 night stay all inclusive at the Hylatio Tourist Village Pissouri. I travelled with my wife, my 82 year old Mother in law and our 35 year old disabled son. I give this information to show our demographic. The rooms were comfortable, spacious but oddly had no TV's? The food was tasty and always hot and a decent selection considering this is only a small establishment. There was always a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are amazing, exceptionally friendly and can not do enough to ensure you are happy. 3 of our party do not drink alcohol and I still felt it was fantastic value for money and we would definitely stay here again. A huge thank you to Sunina for ensuring our holiday was a huge success. My one tip would be, if you want to see more than just Pissouri then I strongly recommend you hire a car as you are a 20 minute drive out of Paphos."

"Location.. is remote but lovely but you'll have done your research and know that, Atmosphere ..is very friendly, staff always interacting with the guests, Rooms,.spacious and depending upon your booking choice rooms vary in storage and amenities, not everything listed on Web site are in the rooms no TV in standard room and ask reception for extras (hairdryer, iron,etc) ..* stairs to upper floor vary depending on room allocation, some strait and wide and some Can be steep and narrow *cleaned daily and listed in the welcome sheet are costs rules etc regarding bedding,towel change.. large balcony or terrace .pool area lovely plenty of sunbeds,parasol and table available for drinks, towels available for hire.. Breakfast.. Good selection, continental and hot food..Lunch..limited hot and cold selection. Evening meal the same,Drinks...local and good selection, bar staff excellent. Check out is 11am something that you are not aware of and the cost if your booking is all inclusive, for an extra €10 per person you can continue using the bar and restaurant until your airport transfer, this should be on the booking sites I think, the owner is often on site to see what is happening and will chat with you, one downside are the guest toilets..too far away from the bar area down steps and a darkish corridor at opposite end of the hotel,pool toilets dark and uneven stairs.there is a disabled toilet in reception that requires a special key..beautiful gardens well kept,we can see why people return several times a year."
