Ankora Hotel

"Room was clean and spacious for the price. Breakfast was warm and inviting with many options from which to choose. I would stay here again. Very close to public transportation"

"We stayed for three nights. The location of the hotel is great, close to Wenceslas Square, and the National museum. Unfortunately, that's the only positive! We had two rooms, one was just ok, the other was terrible, it was room 406. When we first entered the room, we noted that there were two single beds separated by a small table with a lamp on, the room didn't appear to be a bedroom at all, more like a storeroom. There was a shower cubicle in the room, not in the bathroom, in the room itself, and no door to offer any privacy. The bathroom had a foul stench, which seemed to be coming from the drains. We reported this to reception, who sent a cleaner to the room, the cleaner seems to have sprayed air freshener, but the smell returned each day. We asked for a room change on the first night, the response was a simple "we are fully booked", no apologies, no offer to have the stench looked into, just we are fully booked. The same response from the manager the following morning. So, up to you whether you decide to book there, it seems to be a lottery as to whether you get room 406, if you do, then don't expect any solutions from the hotel staff."

"I stay for 3 nights.Hade standart single room.Very small,but clean,redecorated,quiet.Nice with fridge,safety box.You hear people next room or corridor.Breakfast is good.Very pity,that the hotel have so nice patio open only to 10.30!Would be so nice to sit there and relax ."
